Did anyone else get this? I have a small rollover Traditional IRA with TD Ameritrade and I received a notice that says: "We are happy to provide you with new information about your IRA. Recently, the IRS revised its regulations regarding IRAs. We have updated the documents for your IRA in order to comply with these revised regulations. Enclosed please find the updated documents detailing those changes, for your review and for your records."
Okay. So the 'enclosed' was a 9 page addendum that looks spookily similar to what the Credit Cards companies used to send when they changed up my terms & conditions on that 10 page onion skin type of paper.
Is this anything I need to be concerned about?

I'm not being sarcastic, but did you READ it? There were probably fees attached to the account that they are now required to spell out (think returned check fee, for example). It may have a dormant account provision. It probably requires you to go to arbitration in case of dispute. That sort of thing.
The point is unless someone else got the very same set of terms and conditions, there is no way we can know what's in it. (Disclosure: we only pretend to be psychics.)
I read that sort of stuff.

Well, I got to page 3, started to get a headache and decided I needed a glass of wine. After that, the words got too blurry.... I'll take another stab at it another time. Oh, and some YM'ers are totally clairvoyant! They can take a one paragraph question on a 'friend of a friends marriage problems' and totally disect it down to whose fault the problem is, whether or not the couple in question should get a divorce and who should keep the house!

Enjoy the wine. It is a lot more interesting than the terms & conditions statement will be. But I have also read the telephone book when in a hotel room bored (looking for odd names) and the dictionary as a child.
By the way, reread the disclosure I posted. We only PRETEND to be psychic.
