www.ctmirror.org/story/12590/unions-malloy-reach-dealThe governor just announced $1.6 billion in state labor concessions over the next two years to plug all but $400 million that was open in the state budget. There were no layoffs or furlough days in the concessions. The state employs roughly 50k employees. So that equates to $32k per employee over 2 years, or $16k per employee per year. They haven't released the details yet, but that seems like a lot of money that each employee is giving up/ Thoughts?

Concessions on health care, no roll over of sick time. Along with future reduction in retirement contributions. Just a thought.
