If there were no leftists in education, there would be no education. Conservatives don't want to be bothered with it - the pay isn't good enough and the best one can hope for is a temporary tenure as the superintendent who might make $150k per year in a wealthy district. Definitely not an "upwardly mobile" profession.

Ratch.. sorry guy... "Megan Fox is a stay-at-home mom, blogger, radio-talk show host and conservative folk-singer" Did you miss that one..the "conservative folk-singer"...that does it for me, the rest "stay at home", ok, she can handle it, her right, the "Mom", great respect for Mom's, loved my Mom, miss her every day, "radio -talk show host ", another talking head , but hey, makes a buck while staying at home, the American way, go for it...BUT, no way , not a inch will I give in..{Gasp} ...." conservative folk-singer ", now that is just to much, all credibility is lost. Just the way it is...you almost had me but then when I saw that....unacceptable. All the rest is now suspect. ,

Great article. The ultimate outcomes of virtually all of these stories were buried by the left-wing media. No retractions were issued, no corrections and certainly no apologies from the hoaxsters. The will continue to defraud and lie to the American public to advance their agenda, with ongoing complicity from their media...

Just how can my statement be idiotic when conservatives have been preaching from the rooftops for years about how our schools and universities are nothing but bastions of liberalism? Some go so far as to say that they are merely liberal indoctrination centers.
If this is at all true, then ... where are the conservatives in education? How could our schools and universities be "bastions of liberalism" if our education system is chalk full of conservative teachers and professors?
So either our schools and universities are not bastions of liberalism ... or ... my statement is not idiotic. Either way, you're wrong.
And if conservative educators are rare, one must ask the question: Why?
My guess is that the money isn't good enough, coupled with the fact that educators are largely paid via the taxpayer, and we all know how conservatives loathe government jobs.
Something here isn't adding up.

Definitely not an "upwardly mobile" profession. This statement is fundamentally correct. Formal education was up until quite recently, historically speaking, the privilege of the elect.

Something here isn't adding up. You've taken a vague unproven wild ass assertion and made it a premise, then proceed to reach unwarranted conclusions about it. It's obvious you simply hate conservatives. Just say that and stop wasting bandwidth. "If there were no leftists in education, there would be no education".It continues to be an idiotic statement.

This statement is idiotic. Why? Because:
Case closed on that issue, as far as I'm concerned. Now, on to the main course:
Explain to me, if you can, how our schools and universities are bastions of liberalism if there are a lot of conservative educators?
If there are not a lot of conservative educators, kindly explain to me, if you can, why that is?
Did I make an assumption? Why yes, I did. So what? It's easy to simply declare my statement as idiotic, but you never did explain why or even make an attempt to answer the questions I posed. As I so often say, "all fluff, no substance."
If you have a better reason why conservatives seem to shun a career in education, I'm all ears (or eyes, in this case). Thus far, however, no one has come up with one. I'll patiently wait, however.

Do you really believe that the things Obama lied about and failed to deliver on when the Democrats had the House, the Senate AND The White House were due to Republican obstruction? Really? Or are you just pretending to be ignorant for the sake of fostering debate?

Well, they wasted a lot of time trying to get some Pub votes for health reform, and thought they would have 60 votes for another year, so yes. They have made a lot of progess on those things, they take TIME. Lies are things you know are false when you spread them, like death panels, the ground zero mosque Acorn stuff, the birther thing, the Marxist thing etc etc. The whole Hoax thing above is BS too. TYVM. Most no one has never heard of, and the rest are honest mistakes many media got wrong in the beginning....The media are just interested in controversy and ratings (they're not liberal anymore, just corporate), except Fox of course.

And if conservative educators are rare, one must ask the question: Why? Maybe the money just isn't good enough to get them to be around a bunch of liberals all day? ?? (just a thought).

"Case closed on that issue, as far as I'm concerned. Now, on to the main course:"
I see. Refuse to support wild ass assertion. Boldly claim victory by doing so. Move on to another unsupportable contention.
How did Alinsky miss that one?
