This was just printed on a Home State media web site, and I wanted to share and honor the Cpl with some who will , understand/ appreciate and I know will honor his memeory , the sacrifice of the young man so many years ago in a place to many of us know little about. A action that would garner unbelievable reaction today, 600 men overwhelmed , wiped out, in a War few really rememberer , know the facts of. The young man received the DSC, second highest military award for valor I believe, in a earlier action, and in reading the article, I see his remains were found near a North Korean gold mine. My thoughts, not knowing if that is near were his unit was over run, or was it a place he and possible some of his comrades who might have survived , were brought to and made to operate , possible long after the war was ended by the armistice. Possible not, the action was in 1950, but still one has to wonder, and there has always been the question of our MIA's. Welcome home again, Cpl Carnabuci , R.I. P. , thank you so much for your sacrifice, I will not forget. www.courant.com/news/connecticut/hc-green-koreanwar-0510-20110510,0,6858230.column
