* Bin Laden had $750 (£450) sewn into his clothes, ready to flee * Terror chief also had two phone numbers sewn into clothes * Wife confronted U.S. forces and was shot but not killed * She was NOT the human shield who tried to protect him * U.S. and Pakistan in 'custody battle' over wife * British bishop: 'This isn't justice, it's revenge' * Flags burned at pro-Bin Laden protests in Quetta, Pakistan This is the first picture of Osama Bin Laden's Yemeni wife who rushed Navy SEAL troops in a desperate bid to shield her fugitive husband. Amal Al Sadah, 27 was shot in the leg as U.S. forces stormed the compound in Pakistan, but had to be left behind after one of the evacuation helicopters crash landed. She was captured by Pakistani forces. Today she was trapped in an international custody battle, with Pakistan and America locked in a diplomatic standoff over her fate as the two countries traded slurs over whether the Islamic state sheltered Bin Laden for a decade. www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-1383516/Osama-Bin-Laden-dead-The-young-bride-tried-save-Bin-Laden.html#ixzz1LQ2fB1EE

Amal, a Yemeni native, was identified by a passport that U.S. forces found inside the walled bin Laden compound in Abbottabad, not far from the Pakistani capital of Islamabad, according to ABC News. She was being treated for a leg wound at a hospital in Pakistan, where authorities have reportedly refused an American request to interrogate her. A senior Pakistani intelligence official told Reuters that the wife and up to eight of bin Laden's children who were also in custody will be questioned by Pakistani officials and then probably turned over to their countries of origin, and not the United States, in accordance with Pakistani law. The American strike team had reportedly intended to take her and the children but abandoned the plan after a U.S. transport helicopter malfunctioned or crashed. The Pakistani official told Reuters there was not enough room for the group on the other helicopters.

It's a real testament to the training, skill, compassion and control of the SEAL operators that anyone not wearing a US military uniform was left alive during this raid...

Um, why are we making a "request" to interrogate her. Let's just walk in and talk to her. The Pakistanis better decide which side they're on. Maybe they should sneak a peek over at their neighbors in Afghanistan. Obama won't be President forever...Pakistan could be next. They need to get with the program.

Let them protest all they want. Lets get our money and get out of the middle east. That foreign policy has failed since we bailed on Al Quada and the Taliban after the Soviet Union left. Lets get our money out along with our troops. We will have her soon enough. I doubt they will keep her. She was a gift to OBL, I doubt they will give up the 3 billion a year we put in their pockets. No way, not they way they treat woman. Respects Marshabar

They don't believe there will be repercussions. Under President Dither the billions in aid will continue rolling in to Pawkinstawn and the drug trade will remain lucrative. They feel very free to thumb their noses at the U.S. nowadays.

I doubt she's important enough to worry about. It's not like women are equal partners over there.

It IS impressive that the SEALs didn't shoot everything that moved. Too bad that if we don't get her she will be running her mouth all over the ME/Africa, stirring things up. But, really, not like all the wonderful terrorists in Yemen aren't already doing what they do.. Strange that we don't hear more about Yemen, considering it is THE terrorist hot spot in the world. I guess she will be some important person if she gets shipped home to Yemen-- or will they just pass her to the new leader?

Her parents sold her to Osama when she was a trainable teenager. He wanted a well behaved youngster who he could train to take care of him while he lived rough. I guess his other wives weren't quite up to living in caves or whatever. Her parents haven't been able to be in touch with her for all this time. Sad.

Horrible creatures these people are. I suppose selling their daughter to a terrorist was an honor for them, just like it's an honor for your son to strap bombs on himself and blow self and others to pieces. Terrible people.

Hey, he's got the freedom to marry whoever he wants! Just like the liberals want for America! Marriage equality, man!
