What about the moon landing?
(Please tell me you're not one of those people who allege it was faked on some Hollywood sound stage.) ;D

Obama is responsible for high gas prices and unemployment. Oh yeah. Okay, it's time for round two: Here is a cake. You can have it OR eat it. NOT both. Pick ONE and only one.

And being one of the few working class people with a little sdavings in the bank I can buy 2 cakes, so that I can have my cake and eat it too. (This was on of the dumbest posts I have seen from you Mkitty, and I feel stupider having typed what I did.)

President Obama gave the order that took Osama down. End of Story! Nixon carried through on the Apollo Program and landed [US] men on the moon and deserves full credit. President Kennedy deserves credit for initiating it and President Johnson for moving the headquarters to Houston [thereby wasting a load of money, but rewarding his home state]. President Nixon also closed the Apollo program at least partly to fund his social welfare programs and deserves credit for that. It's interesting that President Nixon is not credited for his social welfare initiatives by liberals or conservatives, but for different reasons in each case. The liberals don't want to admit his efforts because it was what they wanted and the conservatives because they it was not what they wanted [particularly from a Republican President]. Fortunately, the US Constitution set up a government which continues uninterrupted from Administration to Administration rather than setting up a new government after each election. So, whatever a current President accomplishes, he does so only because he "stands on the shoulders of giants."

It would have totally rocked if Obama grabbed one of Palin's guns and shot bin Laden in the face. That would be frickin' awesome!
Is it true that the intelligence came out of gitmo?

Too many restrictions....and it looks stale. I'll stick with my homemade American pie because I heard miserable little trolls don't like pie.

You said "have my cake and eat it [referring to the cake you have] too." So you're telling me you bought two cakes and you had and ate one of them. (Just an FYI, the pronoun "it" is singular, and it referred to the last noun mentioned, in this case, one of the cakes. I hope this helps.) Sorry, but you can't logically "have" and "eat" a cake. And what are you going to do with the other cake? Have it or eat it? You can do ONE thing, but not both. Sure, you can buy 2 cakeS, but for EACH cake_ (note no "s"), you can eat that cake OR have that cake. Hey, buy 100 of them, same rule applies. Eat OR ("or" being "exclusive or") have any combination you'd like, but for each one, you can only have it or eat it. Of course one could say "I had a cake and ate the other one," but that would go against the spirit of what I was saying. The idea is that for a choice between two contradictory things ("having the cake" is just another way of saying "not eating the cake"), you can only do at most one of those things, but not both. At least it wasn't "off" the dumbest posts, I guess. For being unintentionally funny by making an epic fail while calling my posts dumb, you're number "on" in this thread. You don't seem to have a grasp of grammar or simple logic, so maybe a light is finally coming on. (And I imagine you've typed a lot of things, and if you get stupider for having typed those things, therefore from your posts, I can see how stupid that can be). That's a good start; realizing you have a problem is the first step to recovery. I suggest a reading comprehension course, and upon successful completion, you can have OR eat some cake. To be a judge, you have to be qualified in whatever you're judging. You haven't shown anything remotely witty here (no, those contextless and canned insults you repeat aren't witty at all), so it's for the best if you hand in the gavel you gave yourself, go home, and take off that robe. If you want, you may keep that wig on your head. It could be an improvement.

Is it true that the intelligence came out of gitmo? Someone said the interrogations were done before the detainees were moved to Gitmo. I have not heard that, (though it may be true), but I did hear from several "talking heads" that the information was obtained through waterboarding.

Obama killed Osama. Nixon landed on the moon. Oh yeah. What was the real point of landing on the moon, other than landing on the moon, and sticking an American Flag on it? The only good that came out of the moon landing was... blocked due to malware/_gxq5uJIKars/S5aWZlMSrlI/AAAAAAAACgU/2fzkrBdJ8AI/s320/891687-moonpie_super.jpg[/img]

I think he's comparing it to "Obama's" takedown of bin Ladin? Tongue in cheek, as he gave kudos to Obama on the other thread. Yes. I am not taking away the good decision on the part of Obama that resulted in taking down Obama. This was more to put things in context for people that think Bush had "nothing to do with it". Once elected, to his great credit, Obama continued many of the Bush policies that he had vehemently opposed during his campaign. He even effectively overrode his own executive order to close Gitmo in 12 months. About the only thing I'd fault him for (Obama) is being so naive during the campaign-- chalk it up to being mostly ideological and lacking real world experience; and Obama did specifically end the CIA interrogation program that led to this operation. However, in the end-- he did the right thing. And for the first time in my life, I'm proud of Obama, and I'm proud of the many liberals who finally seem to be having a moment of mental clarity on the subject of highly trained United States Military Special Operations Soldiers flying unannounced into a foreign country to assassinate someone in a lone-wolf, unilateral military operation. Welcome to the fold.
