Did anyone else get a .75/2 M&Ms individual pack in last weekend's RP? I know I got the $1.50/2 large bag, but I could swear the .75/2 is for the 1-2 oz individual packs that are FAEB at CVS next week. I saw someone else mention this coupon in the HCW thread about HT triples, but now I can't find a mention of it anywhere else, and commenting on frugalsuz's blog is making me paranoid I hope I read them right, because I used a bunch of them at HT triples and I would feel bad if they were for the wrong size... emhalf - I didn't get them in my inserts, so I checked HCW's coupon database. That only listed a coupon for the bigger bags, but I think there might have been different coupons floating around out there. No worries, you probably got the smaller size coupon in your inserts. ;D

Pubbler: I use the Tide stain release as well and really like it. I have never tried it alone, however!

But I always use the Tide stain release with detergent. I gave the sample one to my cousin who had grass stains on her white capri and she told me that they worked very well.

Today I went to WAGS because it was on my way home from the doctor's office. I bought 3 things: The Scuncie $2.00 General Mills multi-grain Cherrios $1.99 Wylers light 59 cents. Total: $4.58 tax 19 cents = $4.77 I paid with a $3.00 RR (ready to expire) and $1.00 off Cheerios MQ OOP was 77 cents.
I then received a new RR for $2.00 (Scunchie). I just wanted a new RR with a new expiration date.

Ditto for Rite Aid.
Transaction #1 2 bottles of Renpure $9.98 2 boxes of Macaroni and cheese $1.99 (BOGOF) 1 Hallmark card 99 cents 1 M and M's peanut 50 cents. Total:$13.46 plus tax: $1.07
New total: $14.53 Minus UPs (2 $6.00 plus one $1.00 UPS)
OOP $1.53
I then received 2 UPs for $4.99 each, = $9.98
I lost some RR's, but at least I didn't let them expire without a purpose. This store was across the street from the Walgreens.
Rinse and repeat for DH's card. Now I have stuff to add to my stockpile.

Admittedly, I am running our of RR's and Ups. Oh well, all good things eventually come to an end. I gave a $10.00 RR to my sister for a gift for no reason. She is a widow, so I knew that she could use it.

frugalsuz, I saw on your blog that the WW limit is 2 - actually it maybe 4. I already got 3 and am working on the 4th one. Did you get the WW limit reached message? I chatted with CS last night and they told me the limit was 4. I also saw on hip2save that she had asked her RA contact and the limit is 4 - at least for this week. So if you have more RC for the precise, you can try to roll it into more WW Ups this week. In case you need the Ensure rebate form, PM me your address. I can mail you a couple of them. saveinla - I honestly haven't a clue with the Weekend Warrior UP. There's been so much discussion of it on Slick Deals. When I bought 2 more Tylenol Precise the other day and got my second WW UP, the receipt didn't say anything about reaching the limit. Thanks for the offer on the Ensure rebates, but I actually found some today! A lot of the bottles at Rite Aid had $1 RA peelies on them, so I'm going to pick some up next week along with free after UP Renpure to use a $3/$15. frugalsuz, If you wait until 6/1, then you can qualify for the June SCR - ensure high protein shake 4 pk get $1 scr limit 6

I've noticed that there are several gas promotions going on lately. Does anyone do the Kroger fuel rewards? You earn 1 point for every dollar you spend and double points for buying giftcards. One of the giftcards is for a gas station that I go to so I bought a couple of cards and earned double points. You can knock off between $.10-$1.00 per gallon depending on how many points you earn. The gas prices lately has slowed down my hounding and really made me think long and hard if whatever deal I wanted to do was really worth it. I'm glad I finally got my Weekend Warrior UP reward with raincheck from the other week. I have a couple of ECB's to use at CVS before they expire and no RR from WAGs and it's kind of a relief not to have to worry about rolling them. If CVS ever has a really, really good deal, I still have money left on a giftcard.

On my way home I stoped at the store to see if they had any of the advil that was on sale (they were out when I went grocery shopping). I got 4 Packs of Advil Liquid Gel and total costs was $13.96 and total savigs was $16.00. In short, I have enough Advil to last me a year We started moving to the new place and space will definitely be an issue. My wife said not to do groceries for the next 3 months because that is how much things we had. I figure I can use the top and bottom part of my closet as storage space and I ask her to leave me the top part of one of the other closet (she is not happy with it but she'll deal).

And a listing on ebay, so I know I'm not quite crazy...it can happen. That was the weird thing, no one put it in the HCW database, or AFC or iheartcvs...must have been very regional.

For every $50 you spend you get $10 and I think you have 3 months till they expire and it's up to 20 gallons. I have $2.20 off per gallon as of my last shopping trip today and have spent $27.86 towards my next $50 discount level.

OK, I just typed a "manifesto" to Kroger about my frustrations with their new "3 like coupons per transaction" policy. No, can't buy 10 Powerbars in the same transaction anymore! Well, actually, you can buy a truckload in one transaction as long as you don't use more than 3 coupons to do it. This is SO stupid, and they can't even say it is to prevent shelf-clearing. No, they just want my money, plain and simple. Up until now, they always seemed pretty customer-focused. What really makes me mad is that they allowed the insanity on the show for all the free publicity, and now they don't want to have to deal with any of the fallout. It will be interesting to see what kind of "spin" they put on their reply, if they even bother. I'd like to smack the *%$# out of anyone involved with that stupid show! Rant over.

So tonight I stopped at WAGs on my way home from work. They never did get any more of the Complete contact solution in. From what I was told, they sold out Sunday afternoon. So for 6 1/2 days, basically, one of the biggest RR opportunities was out of stock. Tonight, I used my $4 RR from Unilever to get another pack of Scunci hair bands ($2 and another $2 RR) and another Pure Silk Shave Cream ($1.99 and another $1.50 RR). That was $3.99 before tax, so I had to get a $0.34 caramel. Now here's my question. The total was $4.33 and after subtracting the $4 RR, I paid $0.33 OOP. There is no line on the receipt for tax. Is this normal when using a RR? ? I looked at the sneak peek ad for next week. There isn't anything in there with RRs that I need nor that I would use or want. I NEED tp and a couple of feminine products. So I think on Saturday, I am going to stop by and use the $2.99 Charmin basic roll coupon to get one pack of tp and another yummy caramel (filler) using my two $1.50 RRs. Then next week, I am going to get the Always 68-120 pack select pantiliners (I have a $0.50/1 Q) and a pack of Summer's Eve cloths (searched and didn't find a Q for those), since I need both of those, using my $8 RR. I figure that will probably be around $2 OOP. I don't consider that bad considering what I usually pay. I am going to keep my 2 $2 RRs till the next week, just in case there's something with a good RR that I will use. If not, I can always buy more tp, LOL. I know others are more experienced at already having this stuff stocked up so you can spend your RRs each week on items that will give you more RRs, but I thought about it and I think it would be better for me to spend some of my RRs on items that I need so I don't have to pay OOP. Maybe someday I will be able to get a stockpile and then be able to roll RRs more efficiently

I'm not planning on buying my groceries there but I will be buying their gas cards to take advantage of cheaper gas.

Coffeegrl Around here (metro Chicago) it is VERY common for WAG to be out of stock on the REALLY good RR items 10 min-1 hr after the store opens. Just for fun a bit ago I checked my BIG store on Sat for an item that was free after RR & a money maker since there was a $1 coupon in the inserts 1-2 weeks prior. They had all of 3 on the shelf. No more came in for the entire ad/sale/RR deal time.
IMHO WAG is pulling a bunch of bait & switch. Get us into the stores for the ‘deals’ & hope we just buy a bunch of other, not great deal, stuff. NOT this hound. I would LOVE it if more people would start complaining to WAG corp when this happens & maybe even their local states attorney. I know here in IL ours, Lisa Madigan, is a working mom herself and VERY consumer friendly.
I have the $2 scruncci RR. Next week (5/29 ad) I will use it on the icy hot and Ritz crackerfuls. Both have mfg coupons. Both yield more RR. I will need cheap filler. I will be checking stock today.
Also, be aware that since RR are mfg coupons some of the regular grocery stores do take them even though they say Walgreens on them. I know I have 1 store that does & I need to check out a couple more stores.

Everyone have a Happy and Safe Memorial Day weekend. Please keep all of our military in your thoughts and prayers. I lost a brother in Viet Nam and my husband served two tours in Viet Nam.
I am on my way to the library annual plant sale. An annual event and I love to support my library.
BTW and NAG: I just finished the audio version of "Water for Elephants." Loved it. Now I have four more that I picked up from the library that I need to listen to. So many good books and not enough time!!! I listen to them on the way to and from work (in between stops at WAGS LOL)

I have $30 RR's from Wag's last week to use. Definitely will be getting some Scott Naturals Papertowels on Sunday for $3.99 (if they have stock) and use my $1.00/1 MC's that expire tomorrow. Any other great ideas?

Also, I have a decent stockpile of many items. However, recently I've had a few things that I needed - medical type items - that I bought with Ups at RA. They're not anything I would have stocked up on & as far as I know probably never free or freap. So -shrug- that's just how it goes. We all try to do the best we can with our resources.

My dad also served (he was drafted) and he became very ill with a lung infection while he was there and nearly died. He still has alot of lingering health problems as a result. He also lost alot of friends but he won't talk much about it. Thank you to all the brave men and women who have served our country.

Ok, I know this is going to sound ridiculous, but....if I go into WAGs a little after midnight tonight, will their new sale ad and RRs be in effect already?
I only ask this because I don't get off work until 11:00 tonight and I really need to stop at either Wal Mart or Schnucks and get some groceries. By the time I'm done with that and get to WAGs, it should be close to midnight. If I do that, then hopefully I can go ahead and get my items for the week without having to fight the crowd tomorrow. (BTW, I routinely stop for groceries late at night after work, especially if I'm going to Wal Mart, just so I can avoid the awful crowd.)

There is a new type of Mr. Clean Magic Erasers coming out but the old ones are $1.97 per 2 pack. I used $1.50 Q off a 2 pack and bought 8 of them. Those things really work! Dollar General and Family Dollar have them for $2.00. We've been cleaning cupboards and was down to our last one.
Hound Alert: I could really use the $.50 Marzetti coleslaw Q if anyone has extra to spare. Please PM if you do and thanks in advance.

Rubyslippers Do you know what insert? I took a quick peek and didn't see this Q. I had and already used a $2/1 Marzetti Simply Dressed Natural Salad Dressing Q. But I don't remember seeing coleslaw dressing variety.

NAG: I found something on Money Saving Mom's blog that I thought was a GREAT idea! She has a link to the MOPS group in Joplin that has a wishlist on Amazon. It's easy to go thru the list, select the item(s) you wish to purchase and Amazon will automatically send it to the hot church in Joplin. In case anyone is interested, here is the link to Money Saving Mom's blog. moneysavingmom.com/2011/05/updated-list-of-how-you-can-help-the-tornado-victims.html

I am on my way to the library annual plant sale. An annual event and I love to support my library. BTW and NAG: I just finished the audio version of "Water for Elephants." Loved it. Now I have four more that I picked up from the library that I need to listen to. So many good books and not enough time!!! I listen to them on the way to and from work (in between stops at WAGS LOL) Kathy - I had no idea you lost a brother in Vietnam. I'm sorry he didn't come back home safely - how sad for your family. My dad also served (he was drafted) and he became very ill with a lung infection while he was there and nearly died. He still has alot of lingering health problems as a result. He also lost alot of friends but he won't talk much about it. Thank you to all the brave men and women who have served our country. Please send me a message with your e-mail. I have something I'd like to tell you.
