The easiest way to insert images from other websites is as follows: If you are using Internet Explorer:- Right-click (that is, click with the right mouse button) on the image you wish to copy. A menu will appear.
- Choose 'Properties' on the menu by clicking (normally) on it. A dialog box (window with information) will appear.
- One line will have the label "Address (URL)". It will have the image URL (location) listed beside it.
The location starts with http:// or https:// and ends with .gif, .jpg, or .png. If the location does not end with one of these, it means that the thing you clicked on probably isn't an image.
Highlight the location by dragging your mouse from the start of the URL to the end of the URL. When you've finished highlighting, the window should look something like this:
- Right-click on the highlighted text. A menu will appear.
- Select 'Copy' on the menu.
- Click 'OK' to close the window.
- Back on ProBoards, right click in the message/post you are creating/editing. A menu will appear.
- Select 'Paste' on the menu. This will place the URL you copied into the editor.
It will look something like: blu.st.s-msn.com/br/WLIDSignIn/i/msn_logo_107.png
- The URL needs to be surrounded by
[/img][/b] tags, which you type in yourself. For example: [/li][li]Presto! You have an image. [/li][/ul] If you are using Firefox:- Right-click (that is, click with the right mouse button) on the image you wish to copy. A menu will appear.
- Choose 'Copy Image Location' on the menu by clicking (normally) on it.

- Select 'Paste' on the menu. This will place the URL you copied into the editor.
