The ending to the NC/UTenn game was really good. Exciting game to watch.

Is there an internet site for viewing the Bowl games? They don't broadcast them where I live...

Waiting for the 1/1/2011 Uconn/Oklahoma game..me thinks were going to get killed .. but to be in BCS bowland so few years playing 1A ball no shabby at all. The weird thing is , the payout per team..17 mill each, but since they split with all their conference members, are responsible for 17,500 tickets {the price on internet lots less then if purchased through the schools} plus extra hotel rooms then there is the team, food, gifts, band, cheer leaders and on and on..they will lose a bundle. Moon love this sports site thanks from all of us..love the way you listen and try to provide..

The NC/Tenn game was definitely a strange and exciting ending.
We're Duck fans through and through. My husband rescheduled his January 10 board meeting for January 11.

For us we're a house divided and living far away from our fav teams. I'm a Texas A&M fan. Hubby is a Texas Tech fan. We're living in UGA Bulldog country. around here unless we mention the Longhorns, every goes "who?".

Cam Newton is going to be a challenge for our defense, I'm pretty darn sure. Dh is convinced he won't be a problem though! I think this will be a thoroughly entertaining game!

Dawgs lost it.... blame it on a sick Uga VIII. He was too sick to attend the game and they used a replacement dawg. It's all his fault. LoL

Got hubby, who worked all night, struggling to stay awake so he can watch NW/Texas Tech.... I don't think he'll make it thru halftime. So I'll root for TT for him.
Go Red Raiders!

Pity that K-State lost a bowl game because of a salute...
This Tide/Mich St game is definately not going to be as close as I thought it would...

We are also a house divided, DH is a Mizzou fan, and while we live in MO, there are a lot of fans of a particular big 10 team here, too. In some areas, you can get most of the bowl games on ESPN3 (depends upon your internet provider).

I 'hope' they have a shot against LSU, but it's one I wouldn't put money on just yet. The Aggies aren't quite back to the Wrecking Crew days yet. I'm also willing to just be happy that they made a bowl game, and the Cotton Bowl at that (at least there will be a heavy A&M crowd) and the 'Horns didn't. I'm crossing my fingers, dusting off my old #7 Bucky jersey, pom poms and I'm ready to go!

I'm guessing the Cardinal, but we'll see. A close friend is a huge Hokies fan, so I will be rooting for them.

...we need a playoff system in college ball... the bowl games can just be the sites to keep the $ flowing... Everyone keeps on proposing this. These guys are not professionals and increasing the number of games leads to increased injury and takes away from what they're supposed to be doing...studying. FB is a much more physical game than basketball to where they could never do what they do with March Madness in as efficient of a time period. My question for you is how would you propose to accomplish a fair playoff system?

If you were to institute a playoff system, you would have to take the champions of each conference and go from there...no more 6-6 gets you a bid. Less bowl games means less money to be made.
