If you do not like Beck-- don't watch Beck. How simple is that?? There are lots of people I dislike, so I do not watch them on TV. Each to his/her own. Freedom of speech-- so far........ I don't watch Beck. However, I am getting really sick of those that not only do, but take his every word as gospel, railing about what's wrong with this country and it's current liberal President and Senate, the outgoing liberal Congress, and everything that group has collectively accomplished in their efforts to better this country. if outright lies by Beck are part of the source, I'm all for publicizing them. the fact that Beck's syndicated shows appear on a network like Fox, whose higher-ups have directed their reporters and anchors to spin things as conservatively as possible, should say something for his message. I lean liberal in my ideals, it's a product of how I was raised and specifically what values are important to my family. I recognize that there are things wrong with the "liberal party line" but there are things wrong with any straight party line. there are quite a few Republican politicians that I respect, even as I disagree with the vast majority of their opinions - because I understand that they are doing what they believe is right to better the country they love. it's the same respect I have for Ted Kennedy - he dedicated his entire professional career to public service. what sickens me are those new politicians that smear and bash their colleagues. it's sad to see that the American public is following the lead of their newly elected officials. it's too bad we can't go back to the days of statesmen. most of the talking heads in Washington these days are there to line their pockets, not direct the future of the country. and is it more sad that I fully expect the only thing in my post to draw attention is my "respect for Ted Kennedy" comment?

Juan... what is his name... Williams, isn't it?? Name ring a bell to you?? Fired from another network and picked up by FOX??? No way is he conservative... more of a tell it like it is guy, from what I have seen of him so far on FOX, and liberal to a point. HMMMMMMMMM........................ And then there are all of those very liberal people they have on the network, regularly, to dispute and argue the conservative viewpoints. HMMMMMMMMMMMMMM... what is FOX news up to??? Reporting the news, as fair and balanced as they can, perhaps??? One would wonder......

After 40 years of ABC's, NBC's, and CBS's left leaning political reporting, it's no wonder all the liberals are in a tizzy over FOX. Now all we need is 2 more major media networks reporting with a slant to the right. Then we'll truly have fair and balanced reporting on the evening news.

"Ted Kennedy wanted everyone either rich (in secret) or on welfare." He did? I'm with billisonboard here.... I guess krickett thinks regulating the chemicals allowed in tobacco products, including sexual orientation in the list of characteristics for hate crimes, creating stricter rules for federal student loan funding, and ensuring that soldiers returning from active duty get the mental health care they may need all qualify as welfare.

Poor Teddy. So misunderstood. We should all be so lucky (unlucky) as to drown someone and walk away from it, go on to lead the country she drowned in until the day you drop dead. UH, no-- Teddy can have that honor. I do not want it.

As far as I know, Beck never killed anyone, accidentally or on purpose. Seems like an average, but enthusiastic, guy-- to me.

Ted Kennedy should have been subject to criminal prosecution for the Chippaquiddick incident.
"Ted Kennedy wanted everyone either rich (in secret) or on welfare."
Still looking for Krickitt to back up this statement.

Doesn't mean I watch Beck or Fox..but her suggest made sense.. Teddy??
He probably had a bit to drink, went off the road, into the water at night , no street lights , they went, any one ever try to find anything in the water at night , especially in a situation of likely shock..escaping a drowning car. Try picturing it. His reaction after..not going back to the cottage for help, late or not..agree , if more clear headed ..possible thinking wrong, grant it..he paid the price..as a country...I think we benefited from it..those here who diss his liberal stands, OK. Me , I listen to his opposition on how they speak of him..they dealt with him almost daily for almost 50 years..very little if any Dissing of the man and how he conducted himself in serving his country..I'll listen to them , thank you very much..the others here, all respect but , to me , just sound bytes regurgitated, non original thoughts.

Mr Fiscan Burns-Sweet Vrginia resides in the Western time zone so she posted at 9:09 pm local time.
A few more posts calling someone the biggest loser just may end up with you being called the Weakest Link. Goodbye.

Wow. I have to say I don't think I have ever heard anyone outside of the Kennedy family try to rationalize the murder Teddy committed. Only extreme left zealots who say that stuff to agitate people would even think of it. New low for you, dezi...

Oh, I agree Mr. Tennesseer administrator. I had just driven myself home from a massive cocktail party and was certainly in no shape to post anything. However, being called "the biggest loser" these days can be a good thing, as you know how popular that television reality program has become. A Happy New Year to you kind sir and I will pass on your kind wishes to fiscan.

I don't know what hate crimes have to do with tobacco products...sorry guys, I can't connect the dots on that one. seriously? perhaps you should read a little slower to see the rest of the list. I do know that Teddy let one of his "dates" drown while he was out saving his own ass for political reasons. If you guys want to idolize him then feel free too lol, that just makes normal everyday guys like me despise politicians even more though, just keep that in mind. Maybe you should throw somebody else up on your pulpit? and this is exactly what I thought would happen when I put TK in my reply. I don't idolize him, but I do respect the work he did to make this country better. there are plenty of people in this country that have made mistakes of that magnitude and gotten second, third, and 20th chances. he just happened to work in a very public position.

he paid the price..
He paid the price? Did he spend 10 years in prison like he should have? A crass, rude drunken disgrace is all the moron ever was. How hard is it to take peoples money and give it to other people with the enforcement behind him? Not very hard so that pos was a total zero.

Dear SweetVrginia, this is not a problem for me or any of my clients. It is my specialty along with extramarital affairs. Please forgive me for my uncalled for suggestion.

Always enlightening to see someone admit to driving drunk and then thinking there's no problem with it. Thank God he didn't kill someone.

Dalton McGuinty Burns III I agree it is not a problem as long as you and only you drive into a tree and there aren't any innocent bystanders around, and your spouse receives a sizable life insurance payment. Apology accepted. Sorry Mods. Couldn't help it.

"rationalize the murder" ===================================== Again with the over enthusism , not a murder as you know. A horrible accident
"Only extreme left zealots who say that stuff to agitate people would even think of it. New low for you, dezi..." ===========================================================
Beginning of the year and back with the left/right BS that is your only way of exprsessing anythin..and if I am agitating you...it's a nice way to start out the new years Ed.
"Did he spend 10 years in prison like he should have? A crass, rude drunken disgrace is all the moron ever was ================================================ Rarly do people spend 10 years in jail for accidents..your accusation that he was under the influence, don't believe that was so or he would have been so charged, , crass he wasn't but if you want to feel that way, so be it..I feel differently..so who can P farther.....Moron, not at all and while wouldn't want to accuse those who say so of being one..if the shoe fits..As far as the Pos.. he was a liberal , no secret...his record in the many years in the Senate..has helped so many prople but the "liberal " sticks in your craw so your distaste for him is natural..And did you realy admit to driving home under the influence and think it's a cool thing to do??

Dear Mr. Deziloooo and steff__t. Do not bother concerning yourselves about what "I" do, the concern here is about what Ted Kennedy did. If you are suggesting he wasn't completely drunk out of his skull that night then you are really just fooling yourself. It wasn't until way into the morning that he was even talked to by any authority. Plenty of time to get somewhat sober, especially after the ordeal he went through and the water he navigated while escaping the scene. I'll give him credit for his survival instinct but thats about it.

Well just thank God you didn't kill some innocent family while you were drunk driving "Mr" Burns. But too bad you weren't lucky enough to run into a DUI checkpoint and get you off the streets.
It's disgusting that you think it's somehow okay to drink and drive for you, but wrong for a guy that is already dead.

Hello again Ms. SweetVrginia. Bandwagons are something I never have contact with. I've been saying the same thing about Ted Kennedy even before it had become fashionable. There is nothing worse than a "proven" criminal politician as 99% of them are unproven criminals.
