It's said he has not leaked anything that has violated national security, just information that should be made public. Some of the stuff they have let out I applaud. Massacres in parts of the world, environmental damage performed by International Firms. Others I have a problem with. The diplomatic letters I have a problem with as it hurts our relations with other countries. I don't believe we live on a Island, isolated , able to survive alone as we like to survive. By hurting and putting up a curtain of suspicions between ourselves and others , I do believe that can harm the country. I wonder how certain nation states would react if they published material harmful or even embarrassing to them. There are states who's tolerances to embarrassment is on a fine line unlike ourselves . I am thinking specifically of the Peoples Republic of China, Russia, Israel, Great Britain too possible Iran and iIam sure other rouge states. I believe they would take action , drastic action , if that was to happen, exposure of secrets or even embarrassments to them. I wonder of they have not quietly let the people over at Wicki know know they would react if such actions were taken , exposures of , against themselves.

Corporate leaks are one thing, let the company sue if it comes to that, maybe the 'leakee' is covered by whistleblower laws, maybe not, let the court decide. But with Bradley Manning what he did was completely wrong and Assange publishing them was wrong. There are indeed some things that governments need to keep secret for national security reasons, not everything can be public. |

It can be a menace if it impedes sensitive foreign policy discussions with other nations or puts lives at risk.

That Julian guy is a creep. I think he may be a vampire or something. Have you guys SEEN him?? He is so white is impossible to believe he is alive!!!
BUT-- seriously-- I can't stand the guy. I do not care what his rights are, it is disgusting that he would be okay with putting people's lives in danger. The military guy... man.. he is in deep crap, forever, maybe, but this ASSANGE guy-- I think someone will probably kill him. I hope he has really good security, because when you go around playing snitch on countries, putting people's lives at risk with your snitching---- lots of people are going to be plenty mad.
Maybe all his hotties can protect him. I doubt it, since they say he is a rapist, and would most likely not cover his azz.
Who would WANT him?? That is one ugly, scary, vampire looking guy.

I'm not influenced by what a certain slanted media might promote, believe that or not, but the other , you do have a point.
There is certain information that if he puts out, it wouldn't bother me. I understand he's putting out some thing to do with conversations, memo's and such in the banking circles after the end of the year, that might be interesting but to have a individual with out any connection , accountability to the material be the one to choose one way or the other as to correctness to let out or not, and make the judgement as to it's appropriatness..no , that's not the way to go.
As far as having action taken against him..as i said earlier, there are those i wouldn't want to be on the wrong side of in that regard and even the hint of that he might some day be sent such material and then have the power to make the decision..these people, they are seriouse about that.
