Purpose of the Tax Talk board

Tax Talk is a board for members to post questions about the technical operation of income tax law in the United States and for knowledgeable members to post answers to those questions.

This board is not a place to discuss tax policy issues such as substitute tax models or the political or economic ramifications of tax law. Such discussions should take place on the Politics and Markets discussion board.
