There will be a total lunar eclipse tomorrow nite into Tues. morning. It's rare because it will occur on the same date as the winter solstice. The last occurance of a total lunar eclipse on the winter solstice date was in 1638 (372 yrs ago).

I just read that the actual eclipse doesn't start until after 2:30 am EST. Guess I am either going to have to set my alarm or call in to work. I love watching this stuff!
