Why would we want to create dysfunctional government agencies? Why would we want to PAY these individuals to go in as wrecking balls to 'rip apart' things? Why do you think dismantling important government agencies is a good thing? Personally, I like having some govt oversight on important sectors like the environment, healthcare, education, etc., so that private industry CAN'T run amok polluting, withholding necessary care that's unprofitable, or minimizing education services to children in need. It is already a dysfunctional govt. Corrupt and the dems made it happen by keeping expanding the agencies giving them too much power. They need to be torn down and rebuild the good start is the EPA and Board of Education To the extent that this government is dysfunctional, it is generally the ones you support who have caused it. It is a pity that you are either blind enough or stupid enough not to see that, or equally corrupt enough not to care. |

Also the report may have evidence of a crime he can be charged with. He was stuck between a rock and a hard place. If he successfully kept the ethics committee from releasing the report, the Dems were going to call the key witnesses who testified to the ethics committee (the women who had sex with him, and saw him having sex with the 17 year old) to come testify during the confirmation hearing. So all that shit would have become public that way. I’m sure, like someone mentioned above, he’ll end up replacing Rubio, at least until the next election. Harder to win a senate seat as a far right or far left extremist, though, so with any luck some less dickish person will primary him and beat him. Especially if that incriminating report leaks before his next election. |
