I remember as a little kid watching Jeopardy in black and white with Art Fleming as the host. Even back then, that was the only game show that I really liked watching, because it was the only one that had difficult and intelligent questions. I also remember being on a road trip for college basketball, two players to a room, and having the TV turned to Jeopardy. The guy I roomed with was amazed that I kept answering all the questions before the contestants could buzz in. Great show.

Really, the only game show worth watching. Meanwhile, in case you didn't know... Alex Trebek Featured in USPS Category: STAMPS
July 23, 2024 HARTFORD, CT — Today, the U.S. Postal Service celebrated the life and legacy of beloved “JEOPARDY!” host Alex Trebek with a Forever stamp. The dedication ceremony was held at Sony Pictures Studios in Culver City. “Millions of Americans invited Alex Trebek into their living rooms each weeknight,” said Michael Elston, Secretary of the USPS Board of Governors. “After thousands of shows over 37 seasons, he was someone we trusted and felt like we knew. And with his intelligence and wit, he made it cool to be smart.” Born in Sudbury, Ontario, Canada, Alex Trebek became a naturalized U.S. citizen in 1998. He began hosting the syndicated series “JEOPARDY!” in 1984, and his to-the-point approach and crisp enunciation served the quiz show well. “JEOPARDY!” became a phenomenal success with Trebek at the helm. His respect for contestants’ intelligence always came through, as did flashes of his pithy humor. "It's so appropriate that the stamp illustration commemorates Alex with a ‘JEOPARDY!’ clue. He loved the game so much, and he always insisted the clues were the true star of the show,” said current “JEOPARDY!” host Ken Jennings. “Alex Trebek was an American institution and so it makes perfect sense to honor him on a postage stamp. And of course, I had to geek out when I saw that the full sheet of stamps looks like a ‘JEOPARDY!’ game board!" Alex Trebek Featured in USPS Category: STAMPS

I thought people had to be dead for 5 years before being featured on a US stamp.
I got the answer, although I was dubious it would be correct.

I record show and if I am in hurry I'll fast forward to the final Jeopardy to see who wins (mainly when I find contestants annoying) Patience is not my middle name!

I tape Jeopardy and 25 Words Or Less. And I watch a lot of evening shows/series. I no longer have time to watch the complete shows of Jeopardy and 25 Words Or Less. So I just watch the last part of each show.

Sarcasm is difficult in the written word. i don't know why i spend so much time defending the mail system. other than the fact that it is 80-95% cheaper than any other method of sending written or printed material, and i am a consumate cheapskate.

I get more answers now that ever. Either I've gotten a LOT smarter as I've aged, or the questions have gotten a LOT easier. I often get the final jeopardy. And if we can't watch it, we record & watch on the weekends.
