Trump is going to be pissed at Kemp again

Georgia Governor Kemp, who has been on the receiving end of a lot of shit from Trump for somehow not forcing the Georgia SOS Raffensburger to ‘find’ 11,000 votes back in 20,000 so Trump could steal Georgia from Biden, is checking with the state Attorney General on whether he can remove the three MAGA election board members that have been making new pro Trump rules for the election.

For instance, they recently decided every county election board had to search the results for voting discrepancies before the vote can be certified. 

Voting rights groups, democrats, and even some republicans are asking Kemp to fire them. Raffensburger, the Republican SOS and fierce Trump hater, is pushing for it, as well. 

Apparently the law does allow Kemp to hold a hearing to determine if these three should be able to keep their positions. However, if he boots them off, Trump will have a melt down, and of course, wouldn’t shut up about Georgia’s ‘corrupt’ elections. 

But Raffensburger and Kemp neither one seem to give a shit what Trump says about them.

First of all, I don't think Trump is happy unless he is fighting with someone, or at least belittling them.  


Anyone who attempts to swing an election "their" way should be purged from the voting process.  I don't vote just so someone else can "steal" it, because they're angry that their own candidate isn't winning honestly.

Raffensberg and Kemp might not care about what Trump says - but it is a complicated decision. Booting them off and reversing all their stupid rules might give the Trump team ammo to end up in front of the Supreme Court. They held steady in 2020 - but I still don’t trust them.

They might have a self preservation bent that if Biden’s plan to reform SCOTUS passes it will reflect poorly on them. Trump could veto that.

I can’t predict what will happen in Georgia except to say it will be a legal mess. If these electors stay in place and Trump wins, the Dems sue. If they get dismissed Trump sues. If they stay in place and Trump loses Trump sues.

I could claim Georgia will be hated by the country like Florida was back during the hanging Chad fiasco except I think Trump will push to create this same chaos in all the swing states, in the hopes he can ram himself into office thanks to a sympathetic Supreme Court.

I’m dreading November, to be honest.

Agree. He is the classic bully-he can dish it out, but he can't take it. Just like conservative posters on other threads who don't want to be politically correct, but say anything negative about them and they are up in arms.

Be that as may be, I have told my kids and anyone else who would listen that this kind of excuse does not fly for anyone older than 30 (and I would have used 25 but I am willing to give some grace) as there is a point in time that you have to accept that you have full personal responsibility for your own actions and behavior.
