I made it...and I've been one sick puppy too...we 'think' it is gall bladder...so will likely be having a bit of surgery here shortly. Don't want to keep living like this past week, mostly in bed cause it didn't hurt as much as long as I was still or laying down.
APPS, long...hope they do well & in honor of Steely's birthday last week.

i am not at all confident that DJT will stay down this week. it has intermediate term support at around $22.

i am not at all confident that DJT will stay down this week. it has intermediate term support at around $22. I know that stocks aren't solely priced on valuations but in my opinion the valuation should be somewhere south of $0.50. It's valuation reminds me of internet stocks in late 1999.

It's valuation reminds me of internet stocks in late 1999. even if you assume the brand is worth something, the valuation is certainly less than $10. Trump is allowed to sell shares in September. he will do so. it will crush the stock.

uncle23 takes over the lead with one day to go. djAdvocate is keeping pace in second and kadee79 is third. Tomorrow's stretch run could be a donnybrook with the entire field within three and a half lengths of the lead. Congrats DJ & Uncle. Mine was pure luck, for sure!
After my visit to the surgeon...'they' have decided that my pains were not gall bladder after all and are now sending me to another Dr. to see if he can determine what was going on. Thank goodness the pains have left, so I'm almost back to my 'normal'. It sure is a wake up how much something like that can knock you for a loop and your strength for a time after it's over also. I'm going to cook today...first time in just about 2 weeks. We have been surviving on things that I'd put in the freezer (big batch cooking...eat now/freeze to eat later) and carry out. That carry out gets old in a hurry. Plus, I'd not had much of an appetite either! My DH is glad I'm cooking today. AND, I'll send him to the store either today or tomorrow for a couple things so that I can make a recipe I found on the net...apple, pecan cake with caramel glaze. The pictures sure make it look good, but I don't have any apples.

the only problem with intermittent pain is that it makes the diagnosis harder. but it is probably better than continual pain with a more certain and speedy diagnosis, in the general case.

No matter which kind you have....neither are fun! I baked that cake today....OMG, it's good! It is labor intensive though. May not make it again unless I have help mixing it all together.
