How Trump/Vance will be defeated in 2024

I think it will take vigilance until the end of voting and through the counting of the votes, the challenges brought with no proof etc.

But unlike what various pundits are doing to scare us or even another thread on this board, I prefer to look at how Trump/Vance will be defeated. Will it be like a constant whack a mole? Probably. But it is less than 90 days until official election day, and we have early voting and military votes to watch as well.

So perhaps this thread can be the step-by-step timeline of vigilance and preparation that will be needed to repel Trump yet again.
Or in his illegal immigrant terms, he's had two contacts with the Presidency and is working on his third. He got in once; it does not mean we should let him in ever again.


I really think he should just beg Burnett to make him a new TV show, but since he's not up to that, maybe he could settle for being governor of Florida and he can still entertain notables at Mar Lago.

I have already spoken with our county auditor to be a ride along observer for ballot pickup in November (I just did it for our non-presidential primary). I did a couple of 4 hour shifts observing the ballot count also but will be working in November. We have a small but active Democratic group here so they should be able to cover it all without me.

One year the local county Dems actually needed people badly enough to make calls you could make some money. If that shows up in email or wherever again I will try to do it if I don't have medical appointment or working PT conflicts. The County organization should still be strong, but I am looking to talk to a local business peep who would know.

Trump/Vance can add to their losing by putting out stories that other people will fact check. Media will publish and report it. Possible Trump my helicopter was going to crash story married to his issue of the day - Harris.

The man who almost crashed in a helicopter with Donald Trump told POLITICO Trump confused him with former San Francisco Mayor Willie Brown — despite the former president’s repeated insistence it was Brown.

It was Nate Holden, a former city councilman and state senator from Los Angeles, who said in an exclusive interview late Friday that he remembers the near-death experience well. He and others believe it happened sometime in 1990.
“Willie is the short Black guy living in San Francisco,” Holden said. “I’m a tall Black guy living in Los Angeles.

“I guess we all look alike,” Holden told POLITICO, letting out a loud laugh.

Holden, who is 95 years old, was in touch with Trump and his team during the 1990s when the flamboyant Manhattan developer was trying to build on the site of the historic Ambassador Hotel in Los Angeles. Holden represented the district at the time and supported the project.
