djAdvocate all I am finding is ACLS (Acelis Technologies, Inc.) The listing is on NasdaqGS. It is a semiconductor equipment and Materials. I think this may be the same company but a different exchange.

ACLS is right. just to make sure, it should be selling for around $166.

Long SPFI (South Plains Financial Services - Bank) The chart sill looks OK. As investors began to anticipate the yield curve to revert to lower rates at the short end and higher rates at the long end, these banks should rally. weekly bars

I think it might be a dangerous sector as a whole, banks and the regulators have not recovered from those surprise bank collapses. Interest rates went up too quickly and only internet banks can really scale up and scale down quickly. Brick and mortar banks in part of reality are closing branches and shrinking their workforce. Investment banking though might be a different story.

Opti, we would love to have you join us in next week's contest. Post your symbol and long or shot. If you have insight on why you chose the company that is even better.

Interest rates went up too quickly and only internet banks can really scale up and scale down quickly. Brick and mortar banks in part of reality are closing branches and shrinking their workforce. Investment banking though might be a different story. i am strictly a small cap growth guy, but i also don't like US banks. they are undercapitalized and overleveraged, imo. so, i like Spain and Latin America, to begin with. i did, however, pick one very small regional bank in the US. i think it was in NEvada, but i can't recall right now. clark is right- we like company here. if you have a pick, just post it and let is know if you are going LONG or SHORT on it.
