Just rewatched Like a Prayer Madonna video because it played after Take A Bow on the interwebs...

So, since I am not sleeping ... I can understand the video now. 
If you don't know the video or the history of the Catholic church etc. ... it can be a personal anthem for a performer.
Yes, if you have to play games and there are masquerades' just to perform let alone having other people allow you to be
happy with your performance should you be born female.

Not Catholic, but I understand why she went universal in her videos to highlight sexual abuse and other things ... sanctioned by the church ... not officially sanctioned but certainly not stopped by the Church. 




Why this is here, Madonna is a major talent and provocative on purpose. She knows its about sex and control. Both videos are stories about violence to women and other beings. Bull Fighting is a vicious sport and depending on the time period it may favor the animal over the male human. A man would know he overstepped with other men or the church if he stepped in the Arena or Ring and once could see the points of horns sharpened instead of dulled... some places did more like cap the horns and drug the bull to dullness etc.just for the spectacle of it.

So our proud matador loves he killed the bull dying at his feet. It was IMO such a rush per the video he confuses the arena battle win/bull with the woman. And I just shortened my time before going to work. Not getting better actually since weather conditions Thursday makes all my sinus, etc. issues worse. Happy Friday workday for those of us who have to show up.
