North Korea has ramped up its trash-balloon operations, with Seoul officials reporting about 700 of the airborne waste deliveries floating into South Korea, littering parts of the country with cigarette butts, paper and scraps of cloth.
...
According to images released by authorities, the packages are conveyed by large, gas-filled balloons. link Gas- filled? Trash? Obviously this calls for Donald J. Trump to triumphantly return to North Korea to successfully negotiate an end to this situation.

Trash? I read it’s shit.
Saw an article today that NK has agreed to stop, once SK threatened them to cut that shit (literally) out.
I see why Trump gets along so well with the NK leadership - they are all like third grade bullies. This is like that prank where kids put dog shit in a bag, set it on your door mat, light it on fire, and then run off giggling hysterically - but on an international scale.
I don’t believe in corporal punishment in schools, but all these kids need to be expelled from polite society. We can send them to some old 1950’s weather station on Antarctica and let them fling fish heads and ice balls at each other all they want.

Not sure where you read shit with no link but my link says: South Korea’s Joint Chiefs of Staff said “no substances harmful to safety” were found among the hundreds more balloons that reached the country on Saturday evening – unlike just a few days ago when used toilet paper was found in some of the about 150 balloons that crossed the border. As far as NK leadership being the bullies: Kim said the balloon were “strictly a responsive act” to South Korea’s years-long practice of sending balloons with anti-North Korea leaflets the other way.
“We’ve let the South Koreans experience enough of how dirty it feels and how much joint effort it takes to clean up spread-out rubbish,” Kim said.
The official from the (South Korean) presidential office added that the government “will not rule out the issue of resuming [playing] loudspeakers” that used to blast propaganda across the demilitarized zone, but had been turned off since a military agreement was signed in 2018. Sounds like both sides doing some good time political theater to me.

Is it odd that I have been thinking something similar for all Republicans in Congress for quite a while now?
