Trump seized on the fact that the MAL search documents the FBI used had a comment about using force. He claims Biden was trying to kill him and his family. www.msn.com/en-us/news/politics/nbc-news-reporter-puts-final-nail-in-coffin-of-trump-assassination-conspiracy-theory/ar-BB1mUKJ8?ocid=hpmsn&cvid=617d097429b34e8199c88ca533d622d0&ei=16Why would he say such a stupid, easy to disprove thing? He’s using it to fund raise. And MTG is claiming she’s the one that ‘uncovered’ the plot. Another highly suspicious detail - the warrant said they should show up in street clothes, not the uniforms they would usually use for a raid!!!! Clearly they were hoping no one would know who they were while they killed all the secret service guys and the Trump family!!! Except that the DOJ put that language as a courtesy to Trump, to try to make it less obvious the FBI was raiding his club. They didn’t realize Trump would publicize it so he could - of course - fund raise. Poor, stupid (literally, STUPID) MAGA minions.

I am so sick of that piece of lying, cheating, disgusting, farting excuse for a man, or human being.

Trump claims lots of things. He seems to be the happiest when he claims he is the biggest victim ever even though evidence shows the opposite.

Trump’s latest lie showcases MAGA persecution complex at its finestGetting Americans to believe he’s been mistreated is key to Trump’s political survival. In campaign seasons past, presidential candidates generally used the long Memorial Day weekend to roll out an avalanche of patriotic messaging about their vision for America’s future. Not so for Republican presidential contender Donald Trump, who chose instead to spend the days leading up to the holiday accusing President Joe Biden of scheming to assassinate him. Trump’s bogus claim that “Biden was locked and loaded ready to take me out” stems from the FBI’s 2022 raid on his Mar-a-Lago compound, during which Trump claims FBI agents were authorized to use “deadly force.” The claim showcases Trump’s persecution complex at its finest, with the former president willfully disregarding facts and distorting reality for an audience that mostly doesn’t know better. Of course Trump being Trump, this whole scandal isn’t without its irony. After all, it was Trump’s legal team that earlier this month claimed before the Supreme Court that presidents could legally assassinate their political rivals. And it was Trump — not Biden — who last November pledged to “root out” political opponents he described as “vermin.” But Trump’s apparent assassination fantasy is more than just narcissism on a national scale. It’s also a perfect example of his ability to manufacture and spread lies that weaken American voters’ faith in government. And those lies are working. That’s more than a problem for Biden’s re-election campaign; it’s a threat to the republic itself. Spreading a so-called Big Lie requires two things: an electorate primed by disinformation and a cartel of media-savvy influencers willing to amplify the lie. Republicans have already turned producing disinformation into its own toxic art form, to the point that fewer voters today believe the 2020 election was fair than did three years ago. The GOP’s disinformation machine was sophisticated enough by 2019 that it raised concerns among national security officials. It’s an order of magnitude more effective today. Meanwhile, the MAGA movement has no shortage of sycophants willing to peddle a lie in exchange for Trump’s political favor. Georgia Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene expanded on Trump’s assassination tall tale in a social media post in which she claims to have warned Trump of his impending murder at Mar-a-Lago. (She conveniently leaves out the fact that Trump wasn’t at his Florida estate at the time.) Rest of article here: Trump’s latest lie showcases MAGA persecution complex at its finest

Trump claims lots of things. He seems to be the happiest when he claims he is the biggest victim ever even though evidence shows the opposite. He realized he can get lots of good grift money whining about being a victim or threatening horrors to come if he’s not elected. Someone has been sending republicans warnings that if they don’t show up to vote for Trump their name will be passed along in a list to Trump and he’ll be furious at them- and no doubt the poor schmucks are buying that. Fear and whining.

if the SCOTUS grants absolute immunity, perhaps Biden SHOULD kill him.
disclaimer: this post is intended to be ironic.

The story I heard was that one of the female FBI agents during the briefing asked what she should do if she walked into the bedroom and he was on his bed in his silk pajamas, and another agent joked “Just shoot him”. 😝

Trump makes me think of all those elderly people who freak out when they get the phishing phone call about the FBI/IRS is coming to raid your house.

As someone who has actually seen a search warrant, Trump's minions are a bunch of histrionic dumbasses.

So Biden send assassins to Mar a Lago on a day it was KNOWN that the fatty orange paint addict (fopa)_was elsewhere? Yea, those Magidiots could be right. He really is too decrepit to be POS. Really how does fopa come up with that shit? He almost has as much imagination as the average 3yo making up stories

Off-topic, but I seem to remember a time when referring to Trump as Trump would get a warning and your post would be deleted if you did not edit it fast enough. This place has changed. I enjoy this place more now, mostly, but I'm also pretty certain that I'm in an echo chamber. I know that living in an echo chamber is dangerous.

Oh, that's so cute! Still echo-chamberish, but clever.
For those who are confused, if you make a reference to DT as "the" plus his unnatural skin color plus "one", it gets corrected or auto-corrected to simply "Trump".

I was reading a Facebook post about the Ticketmaster/Live Nation suit. One commenter posted “But they are willing to use deadly force”. It must be hard going through life that stupid.

Did the Facebook post draw a connection to the Trump claim? I had to do a bit of reading up on the Ticketmaster/Live Nation suit. It does seem fair to say that the DOJ is willing to end the existence of the corporation Live Nation due to their alleged predatory business practices.

The catch phrase “use of deadly force” is from Trump’s claim.

Is it a now a phrase that can never be used in any situation because Donald Trump repeated it from a FBI document?

I find it exceedingly unlikely someone would use that phrase for an anti-trust case unless they were parroting Trump's latest complaint about how abused he is.

Was the person wrong that the DOJ seems to be willing to end the existence of Live Nation as a corporate entity? I think so and thus place the use of the phrase as appropriate (and leaning towards clever). YM(obviously)V.
