Anyone else have the latest Apple update fail? What did you do to fix it?
Not sure why mine failed, but I realize I have some of the symptoms. I did get the Hello screen and did not realize what it meant then. I have an Iphone 11 and recently stopped paying for AppleCare so I am not sure what to do. It installed badly after a fashion so I can't delete it. I have not connected my phone to my Windows laptop in the past, so I am unsure how to move forward.
Apparently this first version of the update is buggy and a more current version is more stable.

Mine installed last night without a problem. It did want me to install some extra password safety feature which I finally got out of.

Apparently the updated 17.4.1 is better. I'm not sure why mine failed either. According to settings I had more than enough room, but I've been deleting emails and texts to help anyway.

I don't do auto update. My wife told me it's best to update while plugged into external power, so I do that and let it sit on my desk.

FYI, I did have issues with an update before I got a new phone in December. I was out of memory, and I had an I-phone 11 Pro Max, could not get the update to load no matter what I did. you might want to google I-phone 17.4.1 update issues and see if you can find any helpful information. I know others here are still using even older I-phones. I am a heavy app user. It was worth it for us to just buy a new phone. My DH only listened to me grumbling about my memory issues for a short time, and he was on the phone with T-Mobile ordering me a new phone.
