Sounds like normal GOP operations to me. Accuse the other side of what you're doing.

This guy vaguely reminded me of a Texas woman who was sentenced to five years in prison for casting a provisional ballot in 2016 while on supervised probation for some tax evasion crime. I thought her conviction was wrong based on the facts back when her story hit the news. I searched for her using what little bit I remembered about her case. And by major coincidence, an appeals court overturned her conviction for illegal voting today! Texas appeals court overturns Crystal Mason’s conviction, 5-year sentence for illegal votingA Texas appeals court on Thursday overturned the illegal voting conviction of Crystal Mason, who was given a five-year prison sentence for casting a provisional ballot in the 2016 election while on supervised release for federal tax evasion. The decision by the Tarrant County-based Second Court of Appeals means she is formally acquitted of the felony voting charge. The court said in the decision that there was no evidence Mason knew she was ineligible to vote when she cast her ballot — which is a condition that must be met in order to convict her of illegal voting. Mason has maintained throughout the 7-year case that she did not know she was ineligible and would not have risked her freedom if she had. She said Thursday in a statement that her long legal fight, which gained international attention, was devastating. “I am overjoyed to see my faith rewarded today,” Mason said. “I was thrown into this fight for voting rights and will keep swinging to ensure no one else has to face what I’ve endured for over six years, a political ploy where minority voting rights are under attack.” Rest of article here: Texas appeals court overturns Crystal Mason’s conviction, 5-year sentence for illegal votingAnd in the comments section of my linked article there are several comments about the guy mentioned in the opening post of this thread.

almost 100% of in person voting fraud is done by Republicans.

almost 100% of in person voting fraud is done by Republicans. Organized voter fraud is also overwhelmingly done by Republicans. Voter suppression and disenfranchisement is almost exclusively done by Republicans. So, uhh, which party is it that values and fights for open and fair elections where every vote is valued?

this business of robbing moral capital from victims has to stop. Democrats are perfectly positioned to do it. they just have to be unafraid to sound like Republicans. they have the goods, after all.
