Lol, someone on bogleheads started a thread on this stock and how soon before you could short it. Of course the thread was quickly locked, with a plea not to start any more threads about Trump or ANY of his businesses!  |

two quick things to note.
first of all, DJT has shown some support at (ironically) $45/share. it bounced off that earlier in the week and it looks like it is heading for a retest today.
second, i just realized that this symbol is going to get crossed up with the Dow Jones Transportation index. it is really a stupid symbol to take for that and another reason- it really doesn't reflect the enterprise. this would be better as TMT, which would be Trump Media and Technology, which is available as a stock symbol. but i guess when you are a thoroughly uncreative and self absorbed person, utterly uninterested in the company you are running, etc, you would choose your initials for a company name.
when i bought my company, i immediately renamed it and incorporated it under the brand name of the business. i don't want any association with the company name, so that i can sell it later without it being forever entwined with me.
but clearly, Trump doesn't think that way.
if you are a buyer of this stock, now is a good time. or it might blow through $45/share. we will see.

Saw on TV this morning where Barry Diller, billionaire media mogul, said Truth Social was a scam and the people who bought stock in it ‘dopes.’
When the reporter continued to ask about it, Diller said ‘why are you even talking about this? It’s a scam. ‘
Diller also said he hoped if Trump did get elected again he spent all his time in office golfing.

read some articles about this one. there is so much short interest that the premium to short it is something like 500%. pretty ridiculous.
meanwhile, Trump is out bragging about what a great company it is, and how his financial reports are apparently fake news. this coming from someone with a proven record of lying about his businesses. rich, indeed.

i think that retail buying is the only thing holding it up. the smart money knows this company is worthless, and likely to stay that way.
i should mention that MOST of the original investors in DWAC opted to get bought out for their original investment than go thorough with the merger. those that remained were the faithful. and the stupid.
it is a horrendous investment.
worst one since Enron.
