Twitter was merciless on Britt's  performance. Lots of people surprised her cross didn't burst into flames with the lies she uttered . And "Bush" was trending, so 90k+ heard the message that this story happened under him and not Biden.

It also happened back when George Bush Jr was president. I’m not sure how she’s blaming that on Biden.

I don’t think they fact check either. Some far righty passes around some horrible story and it ends up in the MAGA speeches and no one bothers to see if it actually happened as stated.

Thanks, I couldn't figure out the tea cup reference. I almost went back and rewatched her speech to see if there was a tea cup.

If you have never seen the movie Get Out, you should. The stirring (sound) of the tea cup was used in the film to put certain visitors in a trance and do harm to them.

The movie won a Best Original Screenplay Oscar for Jordan Peele, one of the two members of the Key & Peele comedy show.

   Scarlett Johansson did an awesome job with this (nice she got to work with hubby last night)   You could tell it was a seasoned actor doing this versus one of the sketch crew.   Lots of little details in her acting that came through.   When I was watching it last night I thought "Tenn is going to repost this!"  lol

it is a very skillfully presented set of facts.  she carefully avoids DIRECTLY associating things together, but places them in the same sentence and paragraph to IMPLY that they ARE associated.

in other words, she implies, sometimes masterfully, things that are wholly untrue.

this is actually something Republicans have been doing for years.  when they are not out and out lying.
