On another thread there is reference to Tucker's "interview" with Putin. Carlson recounted, "It is so much nicer than any city in my country. I had no idea. My father spent a lot of time there in the '80s when he worked for the US government and they barely had electricity."
"And now it is so much cleaner and safer and prettier, aesthetically, its architecture, its food, its service, than any city in the United States that you have to - and this is not ideological - how did that happen?Anyone else in favor of having Tucker move there permanently? Saw another clip where Tucker was excited that he could buy enough groceries for a week for his whole crew for $100 bucks. Claimed that Russia had beaten inflation.
Apparently no body told his an average Russian take home pay if 500 bucks per month.

Apparently no body told his an average Russian take home pay if 500 bucks per month. Dumbass And reportedly expressed amazement that the grocery carts need a coin to unlock them, but you get the coin back when you return it so people won't steal the carts. Amazing technology...that has been in use for decades.... |

Rents are also about 1/4 what they average in the US. and Istanbul is beautiful. but i don't think many of you would like living there. (though i like it) Tucker is taking advantage of the provincialism and ignorance of Americans. he is the blind man with the elephant. but he is the one wearing a blindfold, rather than being excusably blind. |

oh, to add one more thing.
i AGREE WITH HIM that America is not the best place on Earth to live. but if he is trying to convince me that a poverty stricken pariah of the West with inclimate weather year-round is preferable to, say, Vashon Island, i think he is completely mad.
