Adam Kinzinger nails it again

It is SO unfortunate that he is not in Congress.   

The whining, weak, brittle, fragile, delicate, feeble, puny, victim mentality of the MAGA movement is one of the most transparently sad, snowflakey, and pitiful movements really in American history. The incessant whining followed by the usual deflection of some harsh attack that reasonable adults would eschew has really reached a boiling point in my tolerance of typical and normal political dialogue.

The MAGA movement has become an infectious disease of helplessness and victimhood unlike any I can remember. Donald Trump himself is a master victim, suing everyone, everything, yelling loudly about how he is a poor victim of the “deep state,” Rinos, DOJ, FBI, China, Germany, Mars, the sun, and any other possible force of nature. But his victim mentality has spread to the GOP at large, and its the most annoying and destructive force in the nation. Seriously. This infection has destroyed the GOP.

MAGAs strong hero is only doing one of two things. If what he says is true, that he is the most investigated and attacked man in history, how in the world could he be strong at all, given that while he actually was the most powerful man in the world, he couldn’t stop these forces or do anything about them. I’d have to believe that given the levers of power and his amazing strength inherent to his DNA, he should have crushed the evil forces already.

Or maybe, he’s just a whining, weak, brittle crybaby who absolutely cannot operate without a group of people who likewise feel helpless, giving their power to him. This broken weak man, Donald Trump, leads an absolute movement of sheep who believe that in collectively complaining and belly-aching about everything out of their control, they somehow are strong. They are not.

Strength doesn’t come from large rallies of people at the sunset of their life feeding on the drug of helplessness. Waving abnoxious signs or putting large Trump flags on their truck and driving around the neighborhood. Strength is not making expert memes and trolling people on the internet. Strong people don’t fear Disney or books. They don’t lose sleep over the outrage of the day, and they certainly don’t like Putin. Strong people defend those who need defended, like Ukraine.

Strong and healthy people don’t willfully ignore truth. Weak victims do, because accepting lies is required for belonging, and belonging makes you feel better and safer.

MAGA, is weakness.

The GOP has had control of the House, the courts, and at one point every legislative and executive component of government, but still, MAGA believes their are helpless victims that only survive with Trump. Well, either he is completely incompetent to still be on the receiving end of every injustice, or maybe, just maybe, he’s a fraud.

Probably more correct that they are exiting stage left.  Most seem to be exiting away from the right....

He nailed it again with his comments that those "Christians" who support Trump don't understand their own religion.  Not quite as far or as explicit as I go with it but,  good enough.

Adam Kinzinger claims Christians who support Trump 'don’t understand' Christianity

Former Illinois Rep. Adam Kinzinger said Tuesday that Christians who support former President Donald Trump don't understand their own religion.

Kinzinger made the comment in a social media post in which he shared a screenshot of a statement Trump wrote on Truth Social, the former president's own social platform. Trump wished a Merry Christmas to "Crooked Joe Biden" and "Deranged Jack Smith," along with wishing all the "thugs" in the United States to "rot in Hell," a dig at various lawmakers in the United States.

"I’m going to go out on a NOT limb here: this man is not a Christian," Kinzinger wrote on social media. "If you are a Christian who supports him you don’t understand your own religion. Trump is weak, meager, smelly, victim-ey, belly-achey, but he ain’t a Christian and he’s not 'Gods man.'"

Kinzinger's comment is one of many he has made criticizing the former president. He was one of 10 Republicans to vote to impeach Trump in the wake of the Jan. 6 Capitol riot, and he also worked on the Jan. 6 committee, which investigated the events of that day and held public prime-time hearings with key witness testimony.
The former Illinois lawmaker opted not to run for reelection for his House seat in the 2022 midterm elections, ending his 12-year tenure in Congress. Shortly after leaving, Kinzinger joined CNN as a senior political commentator.

There was an older guy today carrying on about our current President sending money to everyone (not true) and how he'd rather vote in the guy they say is crazy because he did better under him. Its sad how little people understand what Presidents can and cannot do. Plus, we have never had such concerted blackout on the truth by right wing media to make Trump look good. They did not report on his constant trips to golf courses and his hotel properties. I do not know even they even reported on how the grifting started at the Inauguration if not sooner.

Because of how the federal govt works, often the financial malfeasance of the prior administration is not found until the next one is in office or sometimes even later than that. This guy doe does not realize the tax breaks he got under Trump were bought and paid for by future money. Money that had to come due sometime. Future money that Trump would kick down the road simply to be elected.
