Former New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani blamed Barack Obama — the nation's first Black president — for a deterioration of race relations in the United States.

On his Sunday radio program, Giuliani called Democrats "the party of slavery."

"These miserable anti-American leaders of the party of slavery have taken us back 40 or 50 years on race relations with Obama," he said. "It began with Obama."

"Before that, I mean, they — every — Republicans are racist. I mean, they love John McCain until he became the candidate of the Republicans, then he was crazy, insane; something happened to him during the war; he's a racist. Bush was called a racist all the time."

40 or 50 years ago, the black people knew their place and didn't rock the boat.   

Seeing a black man elected president made them less likely to stay in their lane.

It was Obama AND the fact a black man was elected. When it was coming down to the wire, I knew Obama would win as any color man is less threatening to the male white supremacists versus any color woman.

Look at how threatened Trump has been that Obama existed and won the Presidency. He stalked Hillary on stage in the debates, it is unlikely he would have done that had Obama been running at the same time he was. Plus, you have Trump's confirmation that he enjoyed watching several women pee on a bed in Russia that Obama had allegedly slept on. Trump has actively gone after every accomplishment that Obama was known to do as President and his base cheered him on. The answer is both.

i am convinced that they were going to try to pull a Gore on him, but when the number got so far off "close", they bailed, and went to a plan B:

Giuliani needs to keep his mouth shut or he's going to find himself in bigger shit than he's already in.  He's already on the hook for those 2 election workers, his mouth is just going to add to the damages that are going to get paid out to them.

Giuliani hearing devolves into chaos as judge signals bankruptcy dismissal

A judge signaled he’ll dismiss Rudy Giuliani’s bankruptcy after a chaotic hearing Wednesday in which the judge at one point threatened to cut off the ex-New York City mayor’s microphone for interjecting.

Judge Sean Lane said he’d make a final ruling on the complex matter on Friday afternoon.

“I’m leaning toward dismissal, frankly, because I am concerned that the past is prologue,” Lane said.

Though Giuliani in a sudden shift consented to dismissing his bankruptcy mere minutes before the hearing began, he jumped in during the proceeding to push back against his creditors’ accusations he committed bankruptcy crimes.

After several garbled interjections, Lane paused arguments to address the “same cellphone” repeatedly butting in during arguments by a lawyer for Georgia election workers Shaye Moss and Ruby Freeman. Giuliani’s bankruptcy was precipitated by a jury’s $148 million verdict against him after he baselessly accused the women of 2020 election fraud.

“Let me ask in court if we can make sure to have that muted, please,” Lane said.

“Your honor, this is Rudolph Giuliani,” the ex-mayor explained.

Speaking over each other, Lane sought to pull Giuliani into line. But Giuliani insisted he should be allowed to push back against the election workers’ lawyer, who had just warned that the ex-mayor’s conduct throughout the bankruptcy could force the judge to “entertain putting America’s mayor in prison.”

“Highly defamatory, your honor!” Giuliani exclaimed.

I'd like to retract that last statement.  After reading Giuliani's (odd and not completely reliable) wiki page, I don't think that we need to speculate any more. 

The man loses his marbles every time that he loses to a black person.

You could refuse to sell your house to a black person and not get sued for it. Your country club could keep out black and Jewish members and no one got mad about it.

Obama is an example of what the future looks like in an egalitarian society, where no race owns privilege over another. those that have privilege hate that. those that don't love it. everyone else accepts it.

I loathe the term WOKE as used by the right. It used to just encompass black history and the black experience in America. Now its anything that doesn't support the fantasy of the white male patriarchy in America. (1950s fan fic version) So RW Woke is against trans, gay anyone because its just too hard to find out someone who looks like a man or a woman, is not into you.

Judge ends Rudy Giuliani bankruptcy case, says he flouted the process with his lack of transparency

NEW YORK (AP) — A judge threw out Rudy Giuliani ’s bankruptcy case on Friday, slamming the former New York City mayor as a “recalcitrant debtor” who thumbed his nose at the process while seeking to shield himself from a $148 million defamation judgment and other debts.

U.S. Bankruptcy Judge Sean Lane criticized Giuliani for repeated “uncooperative conduct,” self-dealing, and a lack of transparency. The judge cited failures to comply with court orders, failure to disclose sources of income, and his apparent unwillingness to hire an accountant to go over his books.

“Such a failure is a clear red flag,” Lane wrote.

Dismissing the case ends his pursuit of bankruptcy protection, but it doesn’t absolve him of his debts. His creditors can now pursue other legal remedies to recoup at least some of the money they’re owed, such as getting a court order to seize his apartments and other assets.

Giuliani is now free to also pursue an appeal of the defamation verdict, which arose from his efforts to overturn Republican Donald Trump’s 2020 presidential election loss.

Lane indicated at a hearing Wednesday that he would probably dismiss the case. Giuliani’s lawyer had floated other options to keep the case alive, but agreed ultimately that dismissing it was the best way forward. The dismissal includes a 12-month ban on Giuliani filing again for bankruptcy protection.

the tipoff for me was when he whined about not getting $100k per MONTH for his lifestyle.

i had no idea what an asshole this guy is. average household income PER YEAR is less than what he was asking for PER MONTH. he certainly has got himself a "lifestyle". i would like to see that come to an end.
