Seriously? Maybe Rudy needs to call for another press conference at the Four Seasons...Total Landscaping company. Rudy Giuliani: Electing Obama has 'taken us back 40 or 50 years on race relations'Former New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani blamed Barack Obama — the nation's first Black president — for a deterioration of race relations in the United States. On his Sunday radio program, Giuliani called Democrats "the party of slavery." "These miserable anti-American leaders of the party of slavery have taken us back 40 or 50 years on race relations with Obama," he said. "It began with Obama." "Before that, I mean, they — every — Republicans are racist. I mean, they love John McCain until he became the candidate of the Republicans, then he was crazy, insane; something happened to him during the war; he's a racist. Bush was called a racist all the time." Rest of article here. Additionally, an audio of Ridge speech in the link: Rudy Giuliani: Electing Obama has 'taken us back 40 or 50 years on race relations'

Yeah back in the 50’s no one went around calling anyone racist. The colored and women knew their place. Everything was fine until Obama ruined it!!

I agree that electing Obama reminded a bunch of losers how far we have come and they did what they could to reverse that progress.

Seeing a black man elected president made them less likely to stay in their lane. /s

It does seem that when Obama was elected to the presidency, a number of racists crawled out from under their rocks and tried to drag us all back into the past. They should've stayed under their rocks.

Reactions to Obama's election has taken us back in race relations decades for some folks ... It wasn't Obama. It was the reactions of all the racists people in this country who were so scared of progress and a black person being in the highest position in the nation, that we ended up with Trump!

They should've stayed under their rocks. precisely. this has ALWAYS been about social status. don't let anyone tell you otherwise. there is absolute rock solid proof of it. MAGA is about solidifying white superiority. period.

It was the reactions of all the racists people in this country who were so scared of progress and a black person being in the highest position in the nation, that we ended up with Trump! It was Obama AND the fact a black man was elected. When it was coming down to the wire, I knew Obama would win as any color man is less threatening to the male white supremacists versus any color woman. Look at how threatened Trump has been that Obama existed and won the Presidency. He stalked Hillary on stage in the debates, it is unlikely he would have done that had Obama been running at the same time he was. Plus, you have Trump's confirmation that he enjoyed watching several women pee on a bed in Russia that Obama had allegedly slept on. Trump has actively gone after every accomplishment that Obama was known to do as President and his base cheered him on. The answer is both.

He's already on the hook for those 2 election workers, his mouth is just going to add to the damages that are going to get paid out to them.

Interesting take.
