www.msn.com/en-us/news/politics/brian-kilmeade-gets-in-heated-shouting-match-with-vivek-ramaswamy-live-on-fox-news/ar-AA1lb0HD?ocid=msedgntp&pc=DCTS&cvid=f40eadf542634e0495685653a2dc2e6c&ei=13"What I'm saying, Brian, is the clear principles are: This war doesn't advance U.S. interest. The Russia-China alliance is the top threat that we face," Ramaswamy said.
Kilmeade insisted the war does serve U.S. interests.
"Vivek, are you comfortable giving up Eastern Europe? Because, you know, they're already taking Moldova, already making moves on the Baltic, they're taking more and more pieces of Georgia, and all we've done is sit there and send blankets and MREs and we got an invasion," Kilmeade said.
"Because we have no idea how Ukraine has spent $200 billion of our money. We're forking over more taxpayer money so some Ukrainian kleptocrat can buy a bigger house. That's corrupt and I'm not going to stand for that," Ramaswamy said.
The problem is a general lack of knowledge in the US how these things work. Ukraine does not receive $200 billion as if it were a gift. The $200 billion is passed in a bill and then generally the state department and/or the DoD decides how most of that $200 billion is going to show up in Ukraine. Most of it will be US military hardware, some of it might be soldiers and or training of Ukrainians to use the military hardware we send plus sometimes tactics. I also wonder where Vivek thinks anyone including a rich Ukrainian would be building a bigger house. Has he seen the fronts and where the fighting is? Since all eligible men are drafted in a very large age range who in the heck does he think would even be available to build this alleged domicile? Its clear that Trump and Vivek are Russian and Chinese assets as they are acting in their best interests and not the best interests of the United States. I was shocked when the Lincoln Project or something pointed out that the Russian talking points he was given back then and revealed on Oprah, are the very same things that were in his 2016 campaign.

Meanwhile, in reality -
Polish truckers began blocking the main corridors into Ukraine last month in protests against the terms of EU access for Ukrainian lorries. The blockage has led to higher prices for fuel and some food items as well as delays to drone deliveries to the Ukrainian army.
Valeriy Tkachyov, deputy director of the commercial department at Ukrainian railways, earlier told Interfax Ukraine news agency that the train was loaded and ready to go.
KYIV (Reuters) -Ukraine began using train platforms on Thursday to bypass a border blockade by Polish truck drivers, Ukrzalynitsya, Ukraine's rail network, said.
The first train deployed in the operation moved 23 trucks across the border from Ukraine into Poland, a statement said.

How do you see the GOP field ending up in the near term? Are you rooting for any of them over the others?
I personally hope Chris Christie survives as long as he can, and the Nikki Haley outlasts Vivek Ramaswamy.

I love the I want to drill, drill, drill. I guess he knows the MAGAs are unaware that Trump could only drill on federal lands which would have to go through an approval process. Which he suspects would be overturned and do nothing for gas prices. But it allows him to pretend he is actually going to do something for gas prices, and make it look like the high prices would be because of that evil Deep State. (A state so Deep its halfway to China China... ) Gas prices fwiw are at least 30 cents lower than last year according to NJ12.

He called the US oil producers and got them to reduce production from 13 million barrels a day to under 10. Then he conference called Russia and the Saudis and asked them to do the same. So when covid lockdowns etc. ended we had the spike at the pump. A lovely S&D problem. Thanks! In August’23 we pumped more than ever before. Looks like Joe is the drill , baby, drill POTUS.

I personally hope Chris Christie survives as long as he can, and the Nikki Haley outlasts Vivek Ramaswamy. One factor: For the Jan. 10 debate in Iowa, Republican candidates will need to receive a minimum of 10% in three nationwide polls focused on likely GOP voters, with at least one of the polls focused on Republicans who are likely to caucus in Iowa. link Doesn't look good for Christie nor Ramaswamy to be in the debate linkNew Hampshire looks better for Christie so good chance he will hang in until then link

Since Trump is not in any of the debates, only name recognition and momentum will count in the primaries. MO.
