I like it better than the red trees Melania did. Those were interesting and certainly different but it was too monochrome for my taste. I like it when a room looks like Santa threw up in it and Jill Biden nailed it for me.

I like when the Grinch brings things back for the Christmas celebration fwiw. I liked the opening pic. I love blue and white as simple and happy but I know some people like my XH really want those multicolored lights. If I did a WH Christmas I think I'd do similar in the you decorate as your style but toss in easter eggs and cherries for others. I do like the sweets shop. CVS has a singing Gingerbread guy who sings he wants a Yum Yum Christmas. x 200 He's $22 dollars, so he's only coming home to me if I get a really great CVS coupon. (Or I am weak in the moment.)

I thought the decorations were over the top. I bet if Bernie Sanders had won, he would have reused last year's tree and spent the decorating budget on health care or something...

Not at the White House but at the Natick, MA mall. An elevator to Santa and the north pole. Pretty creative.

Some people love and expect it though. If Pink or someone wants to visit me, maybe we can take a Sunday and go to Longwood gardens in PA. The conservatory and other parts of the property are prettied up. My favorite is to go to sing Christmas carols in the hall with the big ass pipe organ. longwoodgardens.org/gardens/our-seasons/longwood-christmasFountain shows too, although I have only done them during Spring, Summer or Fall.

Definitely more "traditional" and aimed towards kids and families. I would rather walk through/look at pictures of these kinds of Holiday decorations. I can summon up some wonder and awe (warm feelings) and look for all the 'little things' that might be hidden or at the clever things (I think the reindeer and sleigh decoration at ceiling height is quite fun!). I will admit Melania's red cone trees were cold and sterile. They didn't make me think glamourous nor did they help me summon up some wonder and awe (and warm feelings). They made me feel sad. Even a plastic parking cone with lights and handmade decorations has more "feelings" and "warm fuzzies" and "wonder and awe" than those red cone trees... www.facebook.com/445708208807938/posts/the-tommybaums-as-reader-denny-wheeler-affectionately-named-them-are-popping-up-/2200800386632036/

Apparently, only one in the country. Pretty creative for kids and adults.

They are in Germany and there is that pesky thing called "school" which their parents take pretty darn seriously.

I like Dr. Biden's version MUCH better than Mrs. Trump's. I still have nightmares about those red Christmas trees. There was something scary about it.
