Black Friday into Cyber Monday and sales and beyond?

I had waits on a bunch of stores/vendors for Black Friday prices into Cyber Monday.

I hope peeps will share what you have done and what you might have to do as well.

My entire year waits were for Guinea Dad merch (MoonShadow) and Stegmann Clogs(USA website) as they I think are once a year for the good sales. 

Stegmann Clogs order came in and I need to set up the exchange. The leather chukkas are too short, and unwearable as a work show or a house shoe so they are going back. I am intending an exchange today, as I am looking for at least one pair of functional work shoes for my current job/place of employment.

Guinea Dad order includes the snuggle pack which I think I chose in the gray/Blue instead of the pink. Pluses and minuses on both colors. Decided my fave color is blue, so we will start with that. Probably will use the cuddle sack the day it arrives and the guinea couch/chair thing soon after.

I ordered some stuff from Macys, received it and most is going back. I am waiting for one blouse.

I ordered some stuff from Old Navy/Gap.  I am only keeping two sweaters from Gap, one is too small.  It was a PS, I could not get a PM anymore, so I am going to try a regular small.  I am hopeful that someone will return a PM and I will be able to nab it.

I ordered a top from White House Black Market and bought a sweater to go with it. WHBM only had 30% off, but I like their clothing.  I also bought a pair of pants from Talbots that I got 50% off on.

I ordered two pair of Sketchers Walking shoes from Zappos on Wed or Thursday.  One pair was on sale, the other was marked down $2.  I have a hammer toe issue, so some of my shoes are getting replaced with more comfortable options.  I also bought a pair of brown Life Stride Ankle boots at Kohl's.  I am exchanging them for a wide width.  I had to mail order them, but just glad they carry the wide widths.

DH spend a few hundred at Kohl's yesterday on clothing.  Oher years, we have spend much more.  Today he asked for a JBL FLIP speaker in blue.  It was sold out in our area, so I mail ordered it.

Bought the steam mop for DS's GF at Target, but have not picked it up yet.  DD needs business clothing for her training on her new job.  Hopefully she can utilize some stuff she already has, but they have pretty strict guidelines for what she can wear.  I have to read through it yet.

DH ordered me a new I-phone 15 pro-max from T-mobile yesterday.  I then went on Amazon and ordered a new phone case and screen protector.  I wanted a new Bandolier Phone case that I use for walking my dogs, but the one I want is not yet available.  I am waiting for the exact one I want.

I didn't see anything I truly need on the Black Friday or Cyber Monday sales.  I want a new Iphone 14, but it can wait until next year as the cash price doesn't really change much.

I buy my photo albums from snapfish.com between black Friday and cyber Monday. 65-75% off depending on the year which is great for our personal yearly album and makes it a very affordable gift that I customize for my parents and the in-laws.

My Vitamin Shoppe order came in today and I think I ordered on the 23rd. Yea ... I needed to push out a version of what I needed if I wanted some nice discount. I am on my last Olive Leaf extract bottle and my other health cheats ... so I placed an order of the most urgent.

Because I too ordered from Macy's and I will have to learn how to do returns by NJ transit bus.

I got two pairs of shoes from Clarks with 40% plus another 20% for ID.me verification plus 4% cash back coming from Rakutan.  Also bought four pairs of shoes from HeyDude that were 40% off plus 12% cash back coming from Rakutan.  Lastly, bought two pairs of sneakers from Altra that were 40% off plus 2.5% cash back coming from Rakutan.  All told, I spent around $500 on eight pairs of shoes and that doesn't include the bit of cash back I'll be receiving.  I have three or four pairs already in my wardrobe that will be getting replaced by these new ones.

I got picture frames at 50% off at Hobby Lobby to use for gifts.

Target had buy two get one free on books so I took advantage of that for Abby.

I also got her a whole outfit she wanted since clothes were 30% off.

Got some small things at Ulta for me and Gwen. Snatched up the $14 make up set for Abby.

So Abby is pretty much done.

I just framed Bobs gift and it looks really good so his is done.

I would have shopped Sephora but Gwen was with me. I will have to finish her later.

She got a super early Christmas present. They had a Black Friday limited edition Pink and gold Stanley cup for $20. It was her first online timed sale. She was pretty stoked counting down till the link activated.

Snagged a heated jacket for DS from Amazon. After sale price and coupon, $59 out of pocket. Tried it out yesterday to make sure it works and it was awesome. Has 5 heat zones which can be controlled separately and can run off of a portable charger. DH probably ordered one for me yesterday after seeing it in action even though the one he bought me a couple of years ago still works. It has a barrel plug which I am not a fan of because it has to use a certain charger for the battery, but I am looking at adapters to change that.

I ordered a new cell phone yesterday and some stocking stuffers. All other gifts will be cash. BF is usually for buying stuff for the house or myself that I have been eying, but I must have everything I need because I didn't see anything I needed or wanted.

And just like that I remembered something DH sent me a while back that he would like. I think I'll send it to MIL first to see if she'd like to gift it to him. If not I will order it later.

Well done. I signed up for Rakuten when I saw some customers here and there depositing their checks. And now I do it, but at my buying level or whatever, it takes about 90 days to show up in a check and get mailed to me. Which is fair, because when I order through Macys sometimes its a crap shoot on size and color. 

You get an ID.me verification discount? Military? Educator? 

Not sure what I will be spending on shoes. I need to beg Tractor Supply to approve a full return on the Ariat chukka boots I ordered through them or let me turn them into a different boot/shoe that they carry. Probably Ariat Fatbaby cowboy boots or Jason brand women's boots that fit similar. Still no car, not on bus line ... doing it via online orders this round.

MIL is just going to do gift cards, so I went ahead and ordered it. Hopefully it delivers on a day DH is at work.

I ordered several things yesterday for DH that I hope show up while he's at work. I plan to stash at least one of them for his late January birthday. And the one thing is small but I want it to be a surprise. He's been asking for it and I had no luck tracking it down. The website finally restocked and I grabbed it.

It comes from customers getting pissy that the promos in the store are different from what is online.  So...companies made the promos the same to accommodate those who don't get the concept of CYBER Monday.

Just clicked purchase on reconditioned vitamix. Have had my eye on one for a couple years.

May have been spurred on a bit by accidently seeing one of my presents from DH. I told him weeks ago that I'd love a couple of collapsible fishing poles and sent him some links. Instead he bought me what looks like a golf bag for fishing poles. Besides making a tangled mess, fishing poles can get kinda gross so why would I want to put them in a bag. Poor guy probably thinks I'm going to be floored. Meanwhile, I'm also thinking about where something that big will fit in our garage and how many spiders will live in it. My poles are all hung up nice and neat just the way I want them. I'm just too picky I guess but I like what I like and now I'll be the bad guy if I say something or return it.

For someone who's love language is gifts, he's kinda bad at it. Last year was a $400 necklace that was way too blingy with diamonds for my simple tastes.

I had lists of toys and children's books that I wanted to buy from Walmart, Target and Amazon... started my shopping on Thursday and finished up today. Things have already been arriving over the weekend. (We're donating all of the toys to a local nonprofit that will distribute them to those in need.)

I ordered a Google Pixel 7a last night, marked down from $499 to $375. The battery life on my 4a is abysmal and I've been thinking about replacing it sooner than later, so why not get a new phone on the anniversary of the last time I got a new phone (4a arrived December 3, 2020 and this one will arrive December 4, not bad for $350 spent three years ago). I do love my 4a and I'm going to miss it. Sure, I can pay someone to replace the battery but screw it, new phone time!

We were going to order husband a new mattress but it's not an immediate need so we can wait for the next round of sales.

The first of my deliveries showed up today from Kohl's  (assorted items)  and Lands' End (slacks).  Some of the items I'd ordered haven't even shipped yet, but the one item I'm watching for is the new light fixture for the dining room, which should arrive on Friday.  I'm looking forward to my rebates from Rakuten & Coupon Cabin.

Lands' End came in last night. Replaced a Supima vneck with a print. Decided not to do a direct replace and order the green. With it one pair of pants, and went with a hat to round out the order to the free shipping level of the moment. Ordered a vneck sweater from Orvis. Total crapshoot but neither Lands' End or LL Bean make what I want. Orvis has a return policy like Lands' End used to have b4 they were sold off. 

Guinea Dad order might make it here by the weekend or not. They have two cute enamel pins of a guinea pig. They have also branched into bunnys.

Wow, 20% cash back via Rakuten. The highest I've seen where I tend to shop was 16% on Macy's purchases which must be at times order volume is down.
