Car bomb near international bridge in Niagara Falls.

The Rainbow Bridge has been closed to all traffic amid reports of a vehicle explosion just outside the border inspections plaza on the American side.



Traveling down Niagara Street, the car sped onto the bridge plaza, went through a fence separating the inbound lanes from the outbound lanes, and toward the inspection lanes where it exploded, according to law enforcement sources at the scene.



Two occupants of the car were killed in the explosion.

On the news last night they were just talking about being aware of possible attacks here in the US by terrorist groups, and that New York state was thought to be one of their most-likely targets.  I'm wondering if this could be one of the attacks?

It could be.  Or it could also be a random weirdo.   

I'm not passing any judgment until the investigation is done.

CNN is reporting it as a car explosion.

New York Gov. Kathy Hochul couldn't confirm the origin of vehicle that exploded at the US-Canada border and left two dead, but noted “there is suspicion that the vehicle may have originated in that vicinity” of a casino. The vehicle was traveling at an extremely high speed before it crashed, the governor said.

Should have ended any "terrorist" speculation when they saw what kind of car it was.  Won't ever stop right-wing media and dumbsh**s like Ted Cruz, Vivek Ramaswamy, and seemingly half of Florida's delegation from lying to the American people AGAIN, however.  Terrorists blow up old Fords, not new Bentleys.
