Absolutely not. I'm not dead, I just rock different because of my age. I haven't been to a concert in decades although I've learned getting into a Christian rock concert is pretty reasonable cost wise and they sometimes play more accessible venues than Madison Square Garden and the like. And, FWIW, I do gather moss. Thanks for reminding me. Crestie deserves a shot at NJ grown moss gracing his habitat.

I just heard they will have special sponsors for individual songs. For example, (I can't get no) Satisfaction will be sponsored by Viagra.

What's the other one, maybe them? I can say that with confidence in part because I worked for Pfizer ad have the jacket and some swag. Wish I had taken the non request to move locations and disciplines when mom was first fading with dementia. Weird on how life turns out. Some musicians retire. Some are literally dying on stage (Phil Collins ) and others seem popular for fame etc. more than music ability. I'd go see a Rolling Stones concert for free aka someone else paid for it, but I wouldn't go out of my way for it. Apparently Judy Collins had a concert last night somewhere in the Morristown area. Live is weird, but never boring.

Rolling Stones concert goers. This reminded me of Bob Dylan concert that my son surprised me with tickets. Small venue and while waiting for show to start peeps are chatting and lady behind us wondered what the dynamic make up of crowd was. I turned and said “retired”. She motioned to my son and said it was good to see younger people appreciate Dylan. My son turned looked her dead in the eye and said “I was listening to Dylan before I was born. Everyone within earshot had a good laugh!

So below is a song on their new album. Please keep in mind as you listen to it that Paul McCartney (featured artist) is 81 years old, Mick Jagger is 80, and Keith Richards is 79. Weird what posted. Try again: I just think there is something a little "off" them singing: You think I am your bitch, I'm fucking with your brain

I have seen the Stones live in 5 straight decades. About 10-11 times. They come…I go. That simple. And the reason?
It’s only rock and roll but I like it!😎

I've seen Elton John and Journey I think in concert. I had a Journey concert t, so that must be my big two. Saw peeps at Purdue, but not sure who came. Back then the big thing was the annual Christmas show somewhat modeled after the Christmas Rockette show in NYC. More audience singing and other stuff though.
If Bruce Springsteen wasn't so expensive to see, I'd go see him. Wish I had seen Phil Collins in concert before his decline.

Last one was Shemekia Copeland.

I've seen my fair share of old people up close and personal in the 10 years I worked in a Rehab and then later it became a Rehab & Assisted Living facility. Many of them would say it differently but there have been some awful disturbing screaming matches between husband and wife pairs during the pandemic. Not to mention some of the all encompassing family drama. It was always a relief when these people left the facility for good or even this particular admission.

Lots of folk musicians, some of who I bought their CDs. Street fair performers, Christian and spiritual music artists. I think I probably posted one woman's songs to someone on the board. We have a similar voice range so I love some her stuff because selfishly I can sing it without modifying the song to fit me. Mannheim Steamroller might have come to one of my local NJ malls once and I showed up to hear them.

I saw Paul Revere and the Raiders when they returned to play in Boise in 1960 something. The Beach Boys opened for them. Much more recently I saw Alan Stone when he came back to play at his hometown city festival. Got a free ticket and saw the Hot House Flowers. They had a duo who had just released their first major label album open for them, the Indigo Girls. Leo Kottke gave a nice college campus performance. Georgia Satelliites gave us a great light show when they had the venue turn off all the lights and they flicked matches at us. And Paul Thorne puts on a great live show. Yeah, I have been to some concerts too.

Lived in a very rural area for a while and there was a small coffee shop that every couple months had music, always mid-week. You'd get there and always saw a lived in vehicle parked out front. Inside was a person, a guitar, and a case full of CD's along with a couple dozen of us locals.

No, If You Really Want To Be My Friend, you won't. Come On, really, you might think yourself a pretty good Street Fighting Man, but I don't think those are the Tumbling Dice you want to bet on. Might end up in a place where I'd have to just Let It Bleed. Would you be Happy then?

Well, had to jump in here and say my first concert/live performance was in mid 50’s. Piano teacher drug me to Ferrante and Teicher concert. Did I at young age appreciate who I was seeing, not really but it created a full blown monster for LIVE performances. When my son and his friends started wanting to go to concerts I was the only mom who loved Rock so other moms would buy my ticket and pay for parking if I would drive rug rats. Kinda hated when my kiddo got license. On aside note back when the old MSN board was closing I lamented that I hadn’t even reached 1,000 posts. Don’t remember where I was number wise but poster said “name a performer you have seen live in individual posts”. I finally got to 1,000. Lots of performers seen in venues like Jazz Festival (3 days over period of several years) single concerts, musical festivals, Vegas etc . Remember paying $7.00 for concerts. Heck, saw Elvis at state fair. He was just starting out. ok I’ll shut up. Sorry about hating crowds billisonboard. That would put a damper on things
