As of late on Facebook, I have seen a number of these types of posts where someone you are 'friends' with are mentioned along with 8 or 9 others you may also be 'friends' with. The picture your 'friend' supposed posted will usually involve a vehicle accident and state something like "I can't believe he is gone, i'm gonna miss him so much..  " like the example below. I changed the names mentioned in the actual Facebook post to made up names. I was not one of the 9 but I did know 'Mary Morris' so it was sent to my Facebook page to read. The odd address below the picture and above the information about a fatal accident is real. Do not visit it. Don't open the links because it is someone who is attempting to steal your FB identity. Tenn apparently my church's FB and FB members were targeted. Yet another reason for me to avoid FB or do only a purpose account like Moonshadow's adventures or some such.
Because its the holiday season its scammer season.

I have been seeing those for months and I don't click on links like that.
There are also scams about lost pets. They join FB sales and lost and found groups. If you look at their profile they have about 2 friends and joined yesterday.
The same kind of accounts post links for sports games, even after the game has been played.
