the fake COVID virus that killed 1M+ people? how is that even a thing? Just repeating what I hear from Trump supporters: The virus didn't kill all those people, doctors were just postiing it as the cause of death to get more money.  given that one out of every 300 Americans has died from COVID, it seems implausible that EVERYONE in this country does not know at least one person who fell to this disease. so, they are discounting their first hand knowledge? that is beyond amazing. |

first of all, tax cuts don't stimulate the economy. i know it is fun to say it, but it is false: www.lse.ac.uk/News/Latest-news-from-LSE/2020/L-December/Tax-cuts-for-the-richit is embarrassing to have liberals repeat conservative lies. we should stop it. even Obama did it. secondly, there was no "sugar high" because of it. in fact, economic growth has been better under Democrats than under Republicans. for example, it was better under the last three years of Obama than the first three years of Trump. Democrats are actually better for the economy than Republicans. but again, we have been lied to so much about this that we think the opposite is true. so, yeah, this article, though well intended, is factually inaccurate. Read the whole article which does explain the lie from the GOP about tax cuts. From the link: Using this strategy, Republicans held power for forty years, transferred over $50 trillion from working class families into the money bins of the top one percent, and cut organized labor's representation in the workplace from around a third of workers when Reagan came into office to around 6 percent of the non-governmental workforce today. Think back to Ronald Reagan, who more than tripled the US debt from a mere $800 billion to $2.6 trillion in his 8 years. That spending produced a massive stimulus to the economy, and the biggest non-wartime increase in America’s national debt in all of our history. There was nary a peep from Republicans about that 218% increase in our debt; they were just fine with it and to this day claim Reagan presided over a “great” economy. this repeats the claim that tax cuts stimulate the economy. they don't. |

In my neck of the woods they say all those people died of other things - heart problems, or pneumonia, or just old age. No one actually died from COVID. The government paid doctors more money for each COVID case they found so doctors lied about the cause of death so they could get more money. It’s all a scam by the medical establishment to earn a lot of money. They didn’t publish the cause of death as COVID in the newspaper, even. Always something else. |

Always something else. one time i wrote Noam Chomsky about 911, asking him if it was an inside job. he actually replied. his reply is that the government can't so much as sneeze without it getting wall to wall press coverage. in order to pull off something like 911, there would literally have to be thousands of people involved. the odds of this never getting leaked, despite a years long congressional investigation, is absolutely nil. i have discounted conspiracies ever since then. he was right. |
