they are offering 100 if you depoist 50. Has 2 accounts - a savings and spending account. Kind of like mint or YNAB but witht he bank accounts attached. Free, no fees.....
I'm looking for a new checking account and was going to go with fidelity cash mgmt acct. Would this replace that? or be good to add on to that? Was googling around for any fidelity offers on the cash mgmt account and found this....

So, I opened one for myself...it's actually TWO accounts, and will probably open one for DS (I am managing his Fidelity account right now until he graduates).
I find it kind of annoying though because I'm getting so many Fidelity accounts due to these bonuses and I don't really see the purpose of this one (I mean two). So, now I have besides my Rollover and Roth IRA with them, a brokerage account, HSA, credit card, cash management account, youth account, and now a Bloom SPEND account and a Bloom SAVE account. This is not how simplifying my finances by reducing accounts is supposed to go! Oh, and they said "Congratulations! We'll be sending your debit card soon!" Great. That means three Fidelity debit cards and a credit card.

I was wanting to get the fidelity cash magmt account, then got to the bloom acct looking for any promotions. How do you like the cash mgmt account?

I really don't use it, but I mean, it's basically just a checking account. It's FDIC insured (unlike the brokerage account). You get a debit card, and can order checks. This Bloom account seems kind of gimmicky. Cash back on purchases that you use the Bloom debit card with or on purchases made shopping with the Bloom app, savings match of 10% on first $300 you put in the Save account... I have a feeling I'll do what I need to to get the initial bonuses then close those.
