flying deal?This has me wondering, I feel like during school breaks I might be able to make a fair amount of use of it. Just see what is open the next day and go.

Just be aware that they have lots of fees - checked bag, chosen seat, etc.
Oh, and some of their routes are really limited so if a flight is delayed or canceled, you could be stuck somewhere for a while.

That is why I am thinking just for me, and breaks it might work. I travel light, and during breaks specially summer be flexible on coming back. I would be going out and coming in thur DC, so not small airports where a flight may just be once a day.

Keep in mind that if a flight is overbooked, you might be the first person bumped to put a higher fare passenger in your seat.
You must be flexible in your flight destination schedules. Book flights preferably first/earliest flight in the morning out of your airport.

I despise Frontier. I won't step foot on one of their planes
Many Frontier routes fly once every other day.

There are a lot of excision dates……which align with the major holidays. If you get booted off a flight, or the flight doesn't fly for whatever reason, you could be stuck some place awhile.

If I didn't have small kids and pets I'd be all over this. Flying is terrible and requires some level of discomfort and flexibility on every airline.

My mom has this pass and has used it twice so far. Frontier is one of the only airlines to fly direct from Pittsburgh (our nearest airport) to Denver (where my brother lives).
If my mom wasn't so weird, she could easily use it basically every weekend to fly out and see him and his family. She takes a small carry-on because the majority of what she needs is at his house.
She will probably do at least one trip per month, so at least five in total, which would have cost her at least $500 with Frontier's fare sales, if not more. So it has had some savings.
