This Southern California native is, of course, a fan of the Beach Boys version of Sloop John B, but I really think this is better. Sloop John B

I like this version! Will admit I wasn’t a big Beach Boys fan at the height of their fame. In fact the only concert I have ever walked out of after 3 songs. But this was back in 84 and they had lots of crap going on I think.

They did in 84. Landry was in control of Brian Wilson.
I was a big fan of the Beach Boys in the 60's.
I have seen the Mike Love version twice and will never see them again because of Mike Love

Nice! I have a love/hate relationship with Beach Boy songs... I love the harmonies but at some point I start to hate the song. I think it might be because of the "Wall of Sound" production. but I'm not sure.
That said... I like the Fendertones versions. They are a great cover band. And I don't mean that in a bad way.
