Nor have I ever watched a Cruise movie on TV either free or on PPV.

Someone started a UFO thread and I started thinking about the 2005 movie War Of The Worlds and how I enjoyed the movie. Then I remembered Tom Cruise was the star of the movie. Blea! At least I didn't pay to see the movie in a theater.

And also that one where the planet is being taken over by alien machines and he gets stuck in a time loop. Edge of Tomorrow? Hey - I like sci fi more than I hate Tom Cruise. I will say, while I hate the ultra cocky roles he plays (never saw top gun for that reason) he’s tolerable in roles where he plays a more fumbling every man stuck in a bad situation, as he did in the three sci fi movies I mentioned. I just really hate his cocky jerk persona - plus the whole Scientology BS turns me right off.

A bit OT but this was sent to my FFB page with the caption just the other day and then I saw this thread! How many phone books did he have to stand on in this scene?
