He is having his state government investigate Bud because of their partnership with Dylan Mulvaney. amp.cnn.com/cnn/2023/07/20/politics/desantis-letter-bud-light-company/index.htmlSays he wants to protect the regular folks who had stock in the company and lost money due to Bud being trans positive. Is this a good use of the Governors time? Shouldn’t he be trying to stop the reduction in state income from conventions that are leaving Florida? Isn’t that a loss to the middle class people who normally get their income from tourist dollars? Does he even have legal standing to do this or does he know he doesn’t and this is 100% a presidental primary showboat ploy for MAGAs? (Pretty sure I know the answer to this.) |

What happened to private businesses are people that can reflect the beliefs of their owners and the government has no right to interfere with that? Citizens United remember? Budweiser has the right to partner with whoever they choose and if they are pro-trans that is their right to be so and the government can go fuck a duck. Oh yeah that only applies to birth control and denying gay people a wedding cake.  |

He seems to think he has a lot of support from the bottom-of-the-barrel folks. But he is sounding loonier than ever. Shoots himself in the foot on a daily basis. Even Casey the Barbie Doll wife won't be able to help him out the holes he keeps digging for himself.

Money that was only lost because loonies from his corner decided to throw a fit over a non-issue. Not sure why Bud should be responsible for someone punching themselves in the face, but he has to do something to get his five minutes of attention I suppose.

Disney and Bud are iconic and CONSERVATIVE brands. it is bizarre for someone that claims to be conservative to be assaulting them. but i guess that if you recognize the value of a certain OUT group in the marketplace, and go for that, you fall prey to the Anti-Woke Mob. |
