I'm currently watching the local news, and I just heard about this program that's apparently been a thing out in P-town for a few years already - Summer of Sass

from the site - 

Summer of Sass transforms lives by relocating LGBTQI 18-20 yr olds from oppressive areas in the US to the welcoming community of Provincetown, Mass. For years we have been telling young queers “It Gets Better”


Summer of Sass takes the message one step further by showing the next generation

for those that aren't familiar with Provincetown, MA - it is the very outer tip of Cape Cod. it's a very welcoming place for LGBTQIA+ folks, straight folks are definitely in the minority but very loud allies. 

I was watching a different station, that's notoriously slow in uploading links to the day's segments. so here's a different Boston broadcast.

the biggest thing that brought tears to my eyes? on the first link, just 75 donations have raised over $60 THOUSAND dollars to help this program.
