I'm currently watching the local news, and I just heard about this program that's apparently been a thing out in P-town for a few years already - Summer of Sass
from the site - for those that aren't familiar with Provincetown, MA - it is the very outer tip of Cape Cod. it's a very welcoming place for LGBTQIA+ folks, straight folks are definitely in the minority but very loud allies. I was watching a different station, that's notoriously slow in uploading links to the day's segments. so here's a different Boston broadcast. <img src="//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/bbcode/video-preview.png" video="<iframe src="https://www.cbsnews.com/boston/video/summer-of-sass-in-provincetown-provides-safe-space-for-lgbtq-teenagers-who-need-hope/" id="cbsNewsVideo" allowfullscreen allow="fullscreen" frameborder="0" width="620" height="349"></iframe>" alt="Video Preview"> the biggest thing that brought tears to my eyes? on the first link, just 75 donations have raised over $60 THOUSAND dollars to help this program.
