You want to score sympathy points with flags at half-staff for the victims of the Pulse nightclub shooting, yet destroy the LGTBQ+ community with your laws and posturing about how this state should be a "sanctuary for decency and normalcy"? You fucking hypocrite.
How dare you even mention Pulse or anything to do with it. You are unfit to lead this state. You were elected to lead everyone, not just the people who look like you, sound like you, believe like you, or donate money to your campaign and pledge stupidly undying blind loyalty to you, lest they face personal and political consequences. You want to use the soapbox when it suits you, then crush the most vulnerable when it doesn't. And don't bother trotting out the mother of your children, Casey the Stepford Wife, aka Walmart Melania ( www.newsweek.com/casey-desantis-walmart-melania-jacket-woke-1804670). The "Don't Tread on Me/Where Woke Goes To Die" jacket was a cruel and stupid piece of trash for anyone who supposedly cares about the state her husband governs. But then again, she's under your ugly thumb, so no doubt you had a strong say in her wearing it. Frankly, the only thing you are suited to is a cage match with Trump. The one left standing then fights Conor MacGregor.

Did you see the Tony’s last night when Denee Benton referred to him as the Grand Wizard of the state of Florida?

just heard a story on our local AM news station.
blue states are becoming "safe havens" for LGBTQ Americans looking for a new home.
i will say this about that community. they are smart. they are young. they are healthy, as a rule. the people they are being forced out by are not nearly as smart young and healthy. therefore, us blue states will HAPPILY take them as taxpayers and economic engines.
thanks, Red States.
now, if we could just stop subsidizing your not so smart young and healthy asses, that would be terrific.

The big concern is if they can drive D voters out of purple states. The GOP already has a disproportionate impact on national politics, and the more states they lockdown, the less can be done about it.

I like the logic, not the content. but I don't think I needed to explain this..

Being unfailingly and stupidly optimistic, which I tend to be, I think the vocal anti LBGT voices in the South are loud but in the minority.
I live in an extremely red rural area in purple state and personally know six gay partners who live there with me (their family is there). I think the majority of the conservative community here could not care less mostly because those people are cousins or schoolmates - if not of them personally, of some family member.
It’s harder to hate/fear the gay guy who is always out working in his yard in his T-shirt and shorts and who is always giving you a bag of squash and tomatoes from his garden.
Also, the New Yorker had a story about the new conservative Moms for Liberty org that moved into Franklin TN right outside Nashville and tried to remove the Wit and Wisdom curriculum that they claimed was pro gay and race — the school board leader said out of 1800 students in their district just 34 parents called to complain about it.
Loud mouthed but hopefully the real Christians and moderate voters will eventually drown them out.

One important key is working to not allow them to gain control of local school boards. Turnout for such elections can be low which makes it possible for a small minority to get the most votes.
