If y'all don't anyone who still smokes you now do. I smoke tobacco. Have done so for the past 60 years. I am now 72 years old. No immediate plans to quit. I don't drink or do drugs. I smoked Marlboro 100s for most of those 60 years. When the price got too expensive for Marlboro cigarettes, I switched to cigar tobacco which are then made by the producer into filtered cigarettes. I can buy four cartons of the the cigar tobacco cigarettes for the price of maybe one and a half cartons of Marlboro cigarettes. Reason why my current cigar tobacco cigarettes are so cheap is because cigar tobacco is taxed so much lower than the tobacco used in Marlboros (for example). I smoke in my home as I am the only human living in the house. I do not smoke in other peoples' homes. I step outside if I need a hit of nicotine. I have yearly medical physicals including lung scans. No problems at this point. When the weather is nice I often step outside to smoke. Nice to sit outdoors for any number of reasons. Please be careful. As you know, smoking constricts blood vessels, and as we age they are already less flexible and problematic. My XBF liked cigars, luckily just social ones a couple times a year. I hope yours have fewer additives than most and you smoke less as the years go on.

One neighbor grows his own tobacco and rolls cigars. I don't know where he smokes as I do not smell it.
One neighbor down south. Like a chimney.
One woman also AZ aged out of tennis smokes. Riding in her car will make a nonsmoker sick.
My DIL's sister. My GrS1 on and off. I think he is off now. GrD1 vapes.

I’m 47 and I’ll have a few cigs when I drink or on the golf course. I have one friend that is a heavy smoker that always has cigarettes to bum. I know a few in the younger demographic that vape but none of them smoke cigarettes.

Come into the country, half of the people in this county under 30 smoke cigarettes. It's still a way of life for many people. I swear some spend more on cigarettes than they do on food.

I smoke tobacco. Have done so for the past 54 years. I started when I was 16. i too am the only human living in this house. I don't smoke in other peoples' houses, although Sushi hates it and jumps off the couch when he sees me reaching for my pack of smokes. I wish I had never started, but it is what it is. I tried quitting several times, but it was horrible. Cigarettes are harder to quit than heroin. I did have a heart attack, but my lung X-rays are clear. I worked in a nursing home and many doctors smoked. When I asked why, they said they never wanted to get that old. I guess I don't want to get that old, either. If i come down with something horrific, we have MAiD. I'm good with that. I've lived a prety full and interesting life.

What always shocked me is how many chefs smoke. Even junior chefs vying for prizes on TV, sit around and smoke while they wait. Cigarettes mess with your tastebuds, so chefs? I get that it's a high pressure job.

My mom smoked for over 60 years. She quit when a 10 day hospital stay forced her to. They used nicotine patches and kept going lower on the strength. She was too sick to care when she got out of hospital. She had told dad to get rid of all the cigarettes towards the end of her stay. I was there with him so we cleaned out all of the cigarettes.
She said she had periodic cravings but those went away.
She could not have lived in the apartment here where they moved or any nursing home in the area where she lived or around here while smoking.

I smoke 4 cigarettes a year! I always knew you were a badass. My brother smokes. His wife smokes. Both of them over age 50. I have no idea how either of them is still living. Both diabetic and very overweight. I guess their saving grace is that neither of them drinks.

My paternal grandmother smoked until she was eighty-five years old. She had one cigarette a day and always after dinner.
She lived to be ninety-five.

Yep. Smelled it twice. I think someone was smoking in their cabin rather than go up onto the only smoking area on deck 8. The weather has been particularly foul the last few days. Housekeeping has called twice. The second time, we narrowed it down towards the aft cabins. I don5 know what’s come of it though. They can5 exactly throw passengers off….at least not until tomorrow.

Fire is the biggest safety risk on cruise ships, so they're very strict about smoking areas. You aren't even allowed to smoke on your balcony.

Vaping isn't any better than smoking, is it?
Where I tend bar there are some customers in the 30 yo range that vape while sitting at the bar. It's legal. All of I sudden I see little puffs of smoke. There are also some in the 20 - 30 yo range that go outside to smoke cigarettes.
The bar owner constantly has chewing tobacco in his upper lip.
I don't smoke or chew - never did.
I have friends and acquaintances that complain about how broke they are yet they smoke or vape.
