It's that time of year when pests are plentiful. The referenced article is probably England because of 29p for cotton balls. Things I've learned.
Bay leaves in corners to keep spiders away. Mosquitoes - 1 large bottle cheap blue mouthwash, 1 c epsom salts, 1 stale beer. Supposed to last 80 days. Nice minty smell.
A lot of essential oils mentioned. They increase the cost.
Wasps - Pepsi or sugar water, borax, soda. Moles - old coffee grounds sprinkled by hole. Spray the yard with reused coffee grounds steeped for a large sprayer. |
