Nice!  I wonder if the odds of finding one of these bills is better than the lottery?  Now I need to go check my purse...

OK, that's a fun kind of "What if?" to think about.


Probably not better than winning the lottery. It's been almost 10 years since the original bills were printed. And almost 7 years since the duplicates were printed.
I'm sure many of the original and duplicate bills have been destroyed (returned as damaged to the Fed as they trickled into banks).


Anyone ever do or report a Where's George dollar bill? I haven't seen a bill with writing on it even before the pandemic when I used a lot of small bill cash pre-pandemic.
(I wonder if they have reported sightings of these dollar bills - or if they could see two matching bills in different time frames and different areas of the US? )  

You'd also need to somehow get matching bills in every day transactions.
