In 1991 "The Naval Investigative Service" (NIS) investigated an incident in Las Vegas concerning 83 women and 7 men involved in a sex scandal during a convention.
This became known as "The Tailhook Scandal" after the convention's name.
It was the downfall of the "NIS".........which was disolved and became re-born as "NCIS".
In 1995 they made a TV Movie about the scandal called: "She stood alone: The Tailhook Scandal"
I have searched the entire globe for a copy or a file of that movie....I can't find it.
Maybe someone here can.
Thank you
Lynx

imdb has an entry for it. I wasn't able to check it out, my employer's browser settings block imdb access. it also looks like there's a YouTube entry for it as well. link looks to be ~1h45min, which sounds about right to include commercial breaks. HTH.

Finally did get to watch the movie. Well done, and good movie although I found it very "sanitized"...almost like it was produced by The Navy itself. I always found it funny how Americans want to constantly downplay anything that shows The United States in a negative light.......this scandal, the Mi Lai massacre, slavery, the KKK......very hard to find movies on those subjects.....even the "blacklisting" of the 50's is starting to get buried in the History books. Anyway, I highly recommend everyone interested in History to watch it on You Tube ....while it's still there...by next year, it might be gone.
