Barbara Walters and Pop Benedict have died. I’ve never seen them in the same place at the same time - do you think it was a Clark Kent/Superman thing with those two?

I'm of mixed emotions on Barbara's legacy. Yes she broke the glass ceiling for women in TV journalism, but looking back at a lot of her interviews - they didn't age well. For instance, she tried to "out" Ricky Martin before he was ready. She was also terribly hard on females that she interviewed, insulting a lot of the time.

I could never stand her, just from the interviews. I never watched The View but can’t imagine it’s something I would enjoy. I always thought she came across as an extremely unpleasant person and never understood the appeal.
