I went ahead and verified the US exchanges will be open the full day on Dec. 23. There will be a Dec.26 holiday for Christmas next Monday. The Toronto Exchange will be closed Dec. 26 for Christmas and Dec. 27 for Boxing Day.

Capstone Copper: long

this is my biggest winner of all time.  i literally paid pennies for it back in 2016.  it is not actually a metals junior, it is a senior, because it makes money off selling the metal- a lot of it.  this is a copper miner, and copper looks better than gold to me on opening this week, so i will take this.  i might regret it, so i lined through my old pick to remind me of my error.  i decided i didn't like the VOLUME trend on Radisson.  the price movement looks about the same, maybe slightly better, than CSCCF.  so, we will see which does best.  a lot of miners are on a similar trajectory, in line with Gold.

A new one for me...I think, I don't remember ever picking this one for the contest...but then my memory isn't what it used to be either.  Maybe it will do better than some of my recent picks.

clark: i have been reviewing this situation, and it appears to me that the pink sheets reflect the volume on the Toronto exchange.  the American volume on this thing is dismal.  for example, it still has NOT traded this morning.  can i possibly request that you run this under the canadian symbol?  i think that it is CS.TO at Yahoo.

We will use the symbol CS.TO this week. If you keep the same pick next week because the Toronto exchange does not open until Wednesday morning you will need to enter by the Tuesday morning deadline and the open will be entered Wednesday morning. This works pretty well because the hours of the Toronto exchange and American exchanges are basically the same except for holidays.

I couldn't find anything much glencore on Yahoo. I would rather not do foreign exchanges other than Toronto because of the time differences on when the markets are open. If you can find an ADR symbol for the US exchanges that would be OK. Also, the pink sheets are OK if I can find the symbol on Yahoo. The two symbols I did find are both pink sheets. GLNCF and GLNCY of which GLNCY trades much higher volume. If you can check out the symbol GLNCY and confirm it is the correct company that is fine.
