1.6M? this company had capitalization through the SPAC of 300M. so, either they have burned through that capital, or they are attempting to stiff their way to success.

i just checked out their balance sheet, and they are showing the $300M as "non current assets". i have no idea what that means, but it doesn't sound good.

Maybe Truth Social can start a GoFundMe or do a fund raiser?

a great way to ensure positive cashflow is to never pay your bills.
i am convinced that this is a lesson that Trump learned half a century ago. his entire game is ensuring positive cashflow. it makes him APPEAR rich, when in fact, he is bankrupt. as soon as the creditor of last resort pulls the plug, he goes down the drain.

As he points out in this article, Trump had about 8 M followers on Twitter, when he was a controversial candidate and then the POTUS. What he said mattered. He’s not the POtUS anymore, plus he mostly wants to whine about the big lie and all the outrageous law enforcement people who dare to investigate him. Stale indeed. Lovely SIL, a hard core Trumpists, shocked the shit out of me by declaring she hoped Trump wouldn’t run again. Now she wants Di Santis. I can’t believe it!

So shifting from dictator-wanna-be to dictator.

this might sound strange to you, but that bold statement is maybe the most hopeful thing i have read in a while. assuming you need me to explain that, Trump built his POLITICAL brand on a sort of swaggering, bullying, pwning the libs thing. if people are BORED of that, now, they will either move their interest to someone even more obnoxious (and quite likely less charismatic) or to someone who actually has something to say.

oh, and he had 89 million Twitter followers, not 8M.
it is worth noting that there is an investor revolt against the merger. it seems that some investors don't want/trust handing over their dollars (which are apparently in a reserve account currently) to a fucking crook.
imagine that.
the SPAC paid $3M to Trump Media for the privilege of reviewing the merger.

this is the last line in the article that tbop posted, which is also worth reading:
Sticking the knife in and twisting it, the analyst suggested, "He’s become a carnival geek biting the heads off of snakes, which can be a fabulous show the first couple of times you see it, but after that, meh. Could today’s Trump devise enough fresh outrage to produce even a brief TikTok?"
brutal.

as much as i would LIKE to think that people would get bored of this shit, they never seem to tire of it.
edit: on the other hand, this is how "cult entertainment" happens. only certain types of personalities will ingest a steady diet of outrage.

i am thinking that DWAC is probably NOT a good short play any longer.
there is a fair to good chance that they will pull the deal with Trump, and move to another investment.

I know a whole pile of people who followed trump on twitter for entertainment value. They did not support him at all. Since they had an active twitter account, it wasn't a big deal to follow him. However, when he moved to a different platform, they weren't going to follow him there.
I don't see why this is such a hard concept for the investors to get.

swamp: i think that the extension of offer period (at a cost of $3M to investors) is a really bad sign for Trump Media. taking an extra 90 days to close a deal that should already be done can ONLY mean that some big money has got cold feet, for precisely the reasons you state. they can't fucking run a garbage scow. they have NO experience in media. the ONLY thing they have is the Cult Of Trump. is that worth $300M? we shall see.

There is no way to separate those who support trump on that site and those who don't. I read it simply to see what stupid and ignorant thing trump next posts.
